"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming lake house. The location was walking distance to 3 family homes located on the same street so we could effortlessly go back and forth. The kitchen was equipped well, the appliances updated. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms very nice. Only very small negative - we could not find an ironing board and owner did not reply to our text (we did not try calling). Would love to book in the summer, if available. "

"Our party of three had a great experience at this property. Plenty of room, good layout and great location. Everything was well-stocked, clean and the owner communicated well. ( The basement was great - spent way more time with the video games, darts, and ping pong than planned!) Only downsides are little things others have mentioned - maybe a little better upkeep outside, especially the screened in porch. Shower pressure isn’t quite as good when both are running at the same time but didn’t really find that to be an issue."

"We have enjoyed staying at Back Pond Cottage several times, and it continues to provide a wonderful setting for our multi-generational family of ten to be together while enjoying the beauty of Green Lake. JoEllen's lovely home is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The great room with a cozy fireplace and the deck with firepit are great for group gathering, yet there are spaces for quiet moments or games as well. The home is furnished with anything you might need for an enjoyable stay. JoEllen is a great host, and we appreciate the updates she has made each year. We all look forward to returning next year."

"It was a typical girls weekend of shopping, good eating, laughs and watching the Packer Game. The house was perfect! It was exceptionally clean and so close to walk to restaurants, shops. The town people in Green Lake we all so friendly and helpful. Love the small town vibe and the house was just perfect!"
