Do not stay!
I would not recommend this place to anybody, when walking in you get hit with a strong smell of weed. The room was dirty, looked like blood on the bottom of the bed and a huge wet spot on the sheets, hair in the shower. GROSS!!! I checked in and checked right back out. Only plus was they gave me a full refund as they should.

Firstly the staff at the desk did not acknowledge me when I checked out. Had to ask him if he was a staff member. Spoke very poor English to the point that he was not understandable. Tv in room was out of order and the sink tap dripped all night. Told the desk clerk in the morning but not sure if he cared. Only reason I stayed there was because of the price. Would have to really rethink that on my next visit to Grand Forks.

Checking in at 3am took 30min due to system errors, night reception staff charged my cc again, even though I booked and paid through Expedia amd the whole place was absolutely disgusting.

When going in to confirm room it stunk, like smoke. Definitely need rugs cleaned and a paint job. Going to side door to bring our luggage it was dirty definitely needs cleaning. The bathroom in our room had a big hole in where the pipes were. Also rugs need a good cleaning. Would not recommend.

Shower was brutal, very little water. Carpets look and feel dirty. A a carpet shampoo once a month might help. 11:30 pm had a gtoip of people talking in the hallway, all the dogs love that. Some paint thru out would be nice. Pool area is very dungy looking. Bed and linens were clean, bed was comfy. A/C worked fine. Motel overall needs a go ever, but i guess you get what you pay for. Motel needs lots of maintence done

Rooms and common areas are dated. Television not connected to cable. Window blinds missing hooks, drooping and have holes. Check in was easy. Jay at front desk most helpful and friendly. He is a bright spot in a lackluster hotel.

The staff are nice, the room is clean, breakfast is okey they have muffin, pancake, bread, milk, coffee, yogurt, juice. need improvement in my opinion is the security, people are in/out without using the access card to all entry doors, the carpet in suite smells wet that didn’t dry properly, washroom too, its ok that the building is old but somehow cleanliness and safety is the most important

This was a last minute booking and I wish we would have taken our time to search more for accommodations. Our room was very musty and stale smelling. The shower curtain was not long enough to contain water from making the floor slippery. We were provided ONE bath towel for 2 adults and 2 nights. We always pack an extra just in case. When we came down for breakfast, there were very few items available. If we ever make it back this way, we’ll search for other options.

I have worked in the Hotel industry as a supervisor of cleaning staff. this hotel is dated we went to check in and checked out immediately. As we walked up the stairs it was filthy the pool was murky. once inside the room I pulled back the dated comforter which was dirty and sheets had blood and nose pickings on sheet. the screen was black with cobwebs and bugs in tracking. Room smelled mouldy. I would fire every cleaner in there and hire new staff with training on how to clean. I’m surprised anyone would even stay there at 491.00 a night is unbelievable. The only plus when I spoke to the man at the desk he was understanding and credited my account back. Sorry but this hotel should be shut down. Your cleaning staff did not change the sheets from the previous person who rented nose pickings and blood so unsanitary.
