Off the beaten path, close to Grand canyon
Owner was easy to work with and answered all of our questions. Made us feel welcomed. House is off a dirt road and in a gated community. Scenery was beautiful and in the trees. Peaceful and relaxing. House was expansive, plenty of room for our family to be comfortable. Kids room was separated from master and common area, giving them independence. Kitchen was well stocked with every gadget including a French press and blender. Water is trucked in so we were nervous about using too much water. Made the house feel more like a camping cabin. There were plenty of games and puzzles to keep kids off electronics. Everything went great. Couldn't have asked for anything different other than the description said there was a hot tub and there definitely is not a hot tub.

Enjoyed the little town of Williams, the Grand Canyon and Sedona!
Our family had a great week together exploring the natural beauty of the area. We also fell in love with the town of Williams. The house was set up perfectly for our group. The only issue being with the heat, the central AC didn’t cool off the studio above the garage. A window unit would be helpful.

Fantastic View
We loved this rental and highly recommend it. The home was spacious, clean, and full of extras (puzzles, books, movies, games). The deck gives amazing views for sunset dinners. The fire pit was great for the cold nights. We were even visited by the local cows, which was fantastic. There were 10 family members on our vacation. The home provided plenty of space for us to spread out. Lastly, the communication with the owners was fantastic. They were very responsive when we had questions. We absolutely LOVED this place!!

Comfortable and Charming
The antique decor, lighting, and fixtures gave this home a uniquely Western feel. The hosts provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The home is well maintained and immaculate. We enjoyed eating dinner on the expansive back deck overlooking a breathtaking view. While 45 minutes from the Grand Canyon entrance, we felt that the home was very accessible and a tremendous value relative to on-park and Tusayan lodging options. With two college-age children, there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy privacy, then come together for family meals, movie nights, or to play one of the many games the hosts provided. Such a warm and inviting place made a wonderful base for our family's Grand Canyon experience.

Delightful Property and Hosts
Beyond expectations!! This is a great place for people who want to 'get away from it all.' It is far out of town, very comfortable with lovely scenery and the best-ever hosts. They are thoughtful and kind people and super responsive. We found everything to be 'as advertised' We had some minor requests which Loran and Dana took care of in record time. We use VRBO a lot and I would say they are by far the best hosts we've had and we have enjoyed the hospitality of some good ones. My family loved the house and we felt very much at home there. We had a marvellous time over Thanksgiving and would love to return.

Plenty of room for large family
We choose this home for its proximity to the Grand Canyon and Sedona and because we needed 4 bedrooms with minimal stairs. The beds in the upstairs bedroom and the twin room downstairs were really uncomfortable so much that my son chose to sleep on the couch, while the beds in the other two rooms were fine. There was a lot of dust in the home and tall weeds in the driveway and fire pit area. The deck is great and we enjoyed stargazing from it. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The master bath is great, but with signs everywhere telling you to conserve water that is trucked in it made me feel like I couldn’t take a nice long shower. We enjoyed Williams’ restaurants and shopping. It’s a great little town with the Route 66 vibe.

Great place if you’re looking to be off the grid. Very quiet neighborhood with free range cows and horses. Awesome place to star gaze. Great place to feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere while still being only 20-30 minutes from the main town of Williams!

Beautiful view
Beautiful view from property. Comfortable stay but the owner need to replace some worn furniture and have someone besides who cleaning currently for someone else. I know the location can be a dusty area, however this place needs a good deep cleaning. The wood areas had more than a couple of weeks of dust on them and the deck table still had rings of past glasses embedded on it. I cleaned the table and a couple of other areas as well.

Beautiful Cabin close to it all!
This is our second time visiting this cabin and that says it all. Wonderful cabin for 8 that was built with character. The important things are all done just right. Views from the huge deck are beautiful at sunset. Location close to the Canyon, Route 66 and Williams. Hosts are simply amazing and responsive when needed.

The owners were so easy to work with. The home was perfect for a family with children. The roads up to the house were unpaved but not very treacherous. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the way the home was decorated. If we come back to the area again, we’ll definitely stay at this home again.

Thanksgiving at Cedar Mountain Heights
Our family of eight stayed four nights during the week of Thanksgiving. Two of the days we traveled to the Grand Canyon for lots of hiking and picture taking. In between our canyon days, we remained all day at the house preparing and enjoying a Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Our favorite part of the house was the gigantic 12- foot kitchen table. In the evenings we played card games around that same table. Thoughtfully the homeowners provide plenty of folding chairs that can be placed around that incredible table. We enjoyed S'mores at the firepit one evening. There was plenty of room to spread out, when necessary, but adequate living room seating when we all wanted to be together to watch a movie or just visit. We thought the gravel road was not bad at all--we had a F-150 and an SUV, though. The house was conveniently located between Williams (good Safeway there) and the Grand Canyon. We would highly recommend this VRBO. It would be even more amazing if the weather had been warm enough to make use of the awesome deck.

2nd time staying at this beautifully situated property. Stayed with friends (6 adults in all) and used it as home base for our Rim-to-Rim hike across the GC. Cedar Mountain Home
The location is perfect if you want to be far away from the tourist hustle and bustle and do not need to be close to amenities and attractions. It was very isolated and off road driving was required which you are not made aware of until AFTER you book ( a little deceiving) The house itself is a gem and it’s views of the mountains beautiful , but dusty throughout and could use a bit more cleaning and updating of furniture. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Mountain Retreat
We spent our second week of vacation at this amazing home that is beautifully furnished, private and cozy. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a portrait of John Wayne and other western decor. We used the books on the entryway table to stargaze off the back deck and ate breakfasts on the deck, watching the sun rise. We loved the town of Williams and took the opportunity to ride the train to the Grand Canyon, the first day we visited the National Park. We also drove into the Grand Canyon National Park on another day, which was an amazing and easy experience. Williams has many delicious and quaint places to eat, and Route 66 goes right through the town. Bearizona was a great activity, driving as you witness many of God’s creatures. You can also walk through parts of the park, which was enjoyable. The Canyon Coaster was super fun! If you are looking for authentic Native American jewelry, Williams is the place for you! Once the day of adventure was done, it was so nice to drive back to this spacious and comfortable home, filled with every amenity. We enjoyed an evening around the fire pit, the numerous movies and board games, and the gorgeous kitchen and dining area. The communication with the owners was top notch and the ease of check in and check out was appreciated. Thank you, Loran and Dana for opening your gorgeous home to our family. It was the perfect space for our family of six, completing a family vacation of a lifetime.
