Perfect location, steps from the Grand Canyon South Rim. The cabin was cute and well maintained. We had a door to an adjoining room, which we could hear our neighbors’ conversations through on the first night. I didn’t remember a warning about this possibility in the room description, so it was a bit disappointing at first. We arrived after dark and it was a bit difficult navigating the winding streets around the cabins.
The staff was so friendly and spend time answering our questions. The cabins were nice and the view was incredible. There are three restaurants in walking distance. We went in mid November and the rates were great. Weather was nice especially when hiking down into the canyon. It was nice to wake up and seeing the sunrise over the canyon by just walking out the door.
We really enjoyed being so close to the trails. The room was a little cabin and was clean and cozy. It was lovely to have a tub for a hot bath after a day of hiking into and out of the canyon. Because we were so close we seated hiking before 8am and long before any clouds or crowds descended. We hiked the whole rim from Pima to Kaibab and down to the first trailhead on both South Kaibab and Bright Angel. We ate at due cycle shop 👍Harvey lounge 😬and El Tovar dining room 💗 Fabulous location for a great 2.5 days of exploring this glorious place!!
Super clean room. Cozy but enough for 2 people who share a bed. Bright Angel is an excellent choice for exploring the south rim area. Grand Canyon NP aid outstanding place.
