Great Hotel!
Very clean, bed was comfortable, movie channels on the TV, usb ports in the bedside tables. Lots of little convenience upgrades. Breakfast was ok. Check in was very quick. Would absolutely stay here again.

The staff was very nice and the room clean. The hotel could use a facelift, but it’s still ok. I did have a bit of a shock when stepping out of the shower, looking up and seeing a huge cockroach above my head. That didn’t make me too happy. Also, the fridge wasn’t working because it had been unplugged accidentally and we couldn’t plug it in without moving a very heavy piece of furniture. But all in all, the stay was good.

In disrepair--floor weak
The exterior is being remodeled and there are signs posted indicating this so that I could have overlooked; however, the interior of the facility looks MUCH better in photos than in person. In the hallways on the 3rd floor (which was the one we were on) the paint was worn in areas, looked like something had been dripping down the walls in others, and just generally looked a bit run down. In our room (313- do NOT let them put you in this one), there were so many areas of the floor that were so weak, that it felt like you might fall through if you stepped on them. I would have asked to change rooms and/or would have left altogether had every other room in town not been booked this weekend. I will say that the staff was friendly and the place might be good again once repairs have been made but i highly disagree with the 8.4 ratings given to it and i definitely do not feel it was worth half of the $200 I paid for the night. I don't like to complain about anything, but this one felt structurally unsafe. Beware.

I’ve stayed at Best Western before and had a much nicer room than this time. This bathroom was apparently handicapped accessible which meant no counter space. The lighting in the bathroom was so bad we had to walk to the room window with a handheld mirror to see. The door didn’t lock correctly. I asked for a top floor room and was told there was none available but the hotel parking lot was nearly empty that day, that night and the day after. Breakfast was terrible. The “eggs” were crumbly like bread crumbs. I looked at staying at LaQuinta next door and it was the same price so I stayed out. Not next time. This was NOT a pleasant stay for the money. Very disappointed.

Stephenville stay
My mom came. And she’s short. So it was very hard for her to get in the bed. We eventually had to lay the pillow that was on the not the sofa, but the chair. To try to see if that would maybe raise her out to get in the bed. But it kind of didn’t kind of did not. So far on the handicap rooms. I guess you need to figure out if there’s a way you can lower the beds and a little bit. The service was extremely great. I needed something to be printed. And because the computer did not work at that time, she told me email it to their website or their address and then she printed it for me. So that was very very thoughtful.
