Stayed in an all-female room. The rooms are located above a very busy bar, so expect it to be noisy until around 2am at night.
Generally clean but bathroom is rather basic - hanging facilities limited.
It is not located on a main road, but in interior streets so if safety is a concern for you, please reconsider.
Though I did not visit the bar downstairs, apparently it is quite popular. The atmosphere appears nice.
I called the frond desk many times to accomodate a late check in but they never responded I sent them text messges through whatsup application they read them but no answer when I arrived to the hotel it was already close and I had to find another hotel where to stay. I wish they just replyed to me so I can make arrangements to where to stay before my arrival and save me the hassel to find a hotel after midnight.
Overall I really liked Lemon Rock- the location was perfect, the decor was cool and the bedrooms were so comfortable, clean and secure. One massive downside was that there wasn’t a kitchen.. I prefer to cook my meals instead of buying food out, so was very disappointed that there wasn’t a kitchen. The staff/customer service was average apart from one guy who was so helpful and friendly. The hostel has a bar downstairs which plays live music at night, this didn’t matter to m me but it may to others. Overall a really nice stay, would recommend!
The Lemon Rock hostel is hands-down one of my favorite hostels from this point on. It is eclectic, and cool. Live music most EVERY night. You never have to leave your hostel as there is always something good to eat and listen to when your not out discovering Granada's wonders. A bit noisy at times, but really a great hostel overall.
The Lemon Rock is one of the most enjoyable hostels I've ever stayed in. Clean, comfotable, and safe. Aida (front desk at check- in) was super nice.
Its a very cool hostel with live music showcased nearly every night. So , If you're a light sleeper and bothered by noise or music playing. Its a no-go.
If you love music this is a traveler's dream.
The ambiance was inimitable. The toilet for the room was relatively small. The bar plays some old English speaking rock but they were unable to take request for music.
Great location and wonderful place to stay, central to everywhere and safe.
My only problem was that there were quite a few bugs in my bed and even when I requested a change in beds (which was fine and the staff were very accommodating) there were still a couple of bugs during the night.
The room I stayed had a weird smell, the beds are comfortable and sturdy but it is a bit tricky getting to it as there are no stairs, you kind of have to go from the corner to get up. I was on a second floor and if you are looking to sleep early it might not be the best place to be. The hotel has a nice vibe and stuff were great, location is awesome and overall it was a good experience.

Cooo hostel but small double rooms
This is a cool hostel but the double rooms are small and the bed is pushed up against the wall so you have to climb over each other to get out of bed. also the shower is timed so you have to keep pushing the button for water to come out.! Not ideal for the price we paid.
Good bar vibe though
It was such an wonderful experience staying this amazing place. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Granada again :)

Good location but noice is a problem
Stayed two nights in 3rd week on July 2017 at Lemonrock to visit Alhambra.
The ground floor of Lemonrock is actually a popular local bar/café. The rest of floors have been converted to a hostel with bunk beds.
People in Granada know how to party and while away the time drinking and chatting and Lemonrock seems to be a good place for them. This is all good but it does not do well for a good night sleep.
If you are staying for a night, it is good place to stay. Staying two nights? May be stretching far?
Breakfast (3 Euros) pretty decent.
Location is very good. Only a short distance (5-10 min walking) from the Cathedral and bus SN1 connects Cathedral and Granada Estacion Autobus.
If you want to visit Alhambra, the C3 bus stop is just 10-15 minutes’ walk from the Lemonrock.
Lemonrock Management, please take note and insulate the upper floors from the noise coming from the cafe/bar. I stayed with 10 other travellers from Belgiaum, the USA, Argentina and they shared my opinions.
Toilet seats would suit a 5-6 years old child but an adult would struggle. This also goes to explain why they were dirty - I will spare you the details.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at lemon rock!!!! Besides from the great staff and people the hostel facilities was great - it was clean, the bar was always buzzing and the lemon rock breakfast was perfect especially tor it's price.
Overall, it was a good experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I should say that part of my decision to choose Lemon Rock was because of Hotels.com advertising that free breakfast was included, but that turned out to be false. Breakfast at Lemon Rock is NOT free. Also, because it's a bar as well as a hostel, it can get pretty loud downstairs at night. You just have to sleep through it. Other than those two things, I enjoyed my stay!
There were bed bugs. We told the man working at the desk that night and he told us he couldn't do anything until the morning. People were yelling down at the bar on the first floor until about 1:30 am. We got no sleep for fear of more bed beds crawling on us and because of all the noise. The next morning we checked out early. The manager told us we should go to this other hostel close by. Instead of calling to help us reserve a place, he sent us on a wild goose chase to find this place. Once we finally found it they didn't even listen to us and send us away because there were no rooms. Our trip was ruined. We couldn't find another place and we ended up just going home. I would never return to this hostel, even if you paid me.
A nicely designed hostel within walking distance to places of interest. The dorm was creatively designed but when it was busy it felt crowded and there was a bit of an obsticle course getting round people's belongings and luggage. The bunks were sturdy, with a good head height and with inbuilt lights and sockets. Being part of a bar the noise was to be expected but I didn't find it too disturbing and the free welcoming drink was a nice touch.
Fun place to stay. Walking distance to city centre.very clean and public washrooms are always clean.
There is no parking available, however there is public parking available near
Nice, friendly staff.
Front desk was able to accommodate us for an extra night without any problem. Loved our experience here-very lively place!
