Great Location
Checking in was super easy and smooth. Location is great! We found several things. 1, microwave’s front panes was coming off. 2, there were some trushes under the couch cushion. 3, there were no Kleenex tissues any rooms 4, there were no hangers any bedrooms 5, their wifi was too weak and couldn’t read the email 6, their towels were very old and not white enough. I know they were washed but we don’t feel those towels were clean. During our stay, I had to contact with a local rental manager for some reason. She helped a lot and quickly. We are really appreciate her hospitality. However, both of our neighbors (G145 and G147) were playing music and or watching TV with loud base sounds till late night. That was our huge issue. We are easy people to make us happy but those noisy neighbors were not acceptable. We won’t stay this unit anymore even though property manager was super nice.

Unclean and lots of stairs
The location of the listing was perfect for our needs. There is no where in the listing details or photos that tell you there are two sets of very steep stairs. If you are disabled or have difficulty going up and down stairs this is not a good place to stay. I was also disappointed to find the listing dirty and in a state of disrepair. The property manager contacted us but no one came to clean. They offered late check out, I suppose as some sort of compensation, but their cleaner showed up early anyways. Sorry to say but for the price and issues noted before we will be looking elsewhere in the future

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty
Upon check in the house did not appear to have been vacuumed. There was visible dirt on the entry stairs, living room and bedrooms. While unpacking in the bunk bed rooms I stepped in old dog poop. The living room couch was in desperate need of a cleaning with stains throughout. The living room carpet smelled very strongly of dog urine. The entire house was in need of small repairs and a deep clean. I have never left a poor review at a rental but for the amount charged for the cleaning fee this place should have been kept up more. The pool key did not work and left us standing in the snow and cold. I contacted Vacasa multiple times and played phone tag the first night. However, they never returned my last call and never responded to the various messages I sent through the VRBO app. I talked to an agent through chat and he told me I would need to submit pictures of the dog poop for them to be able to help me. Overall, the location can’t be beat, but with a ton of other condos to choose from at Collins Lake I would never stay at this one again and would not recommend anyone else stay here. If you read back through the reviews I am not the only renter to have commented on dog poop being on the furniture and that the unit is in serious need of a deep clean. Look elsewhere, this unit is not worth it.

Spacious, well-appointed condo, a stone’s throw from ski slopes, tubing. Well-appointed kitchen and super comfy couch by the fire. Ability to unload gear in the garage, out of the weather , was a huge plus. We will be coming back!

This was a nice little getaway for my family. Condo was well kept and looks newly renovated. Plenty of stuff to make it a home away from home. One thing we wish it had was a baby gate for our toddler for the stairs, but other than that, we enjoyed it.

Overall good but…
We had a very comfortable stay. As a suggestion for the owner. Please clean the stained upholstery, add furniture to put suitcases and possessions on, there’s nowhere to park our stuff. Have an extra blanket for cold nights if you want us to turn down the heat As I said it was otherwise very comfortable and the kitchen was great!

The weather was poor, but the townhouse was great. We visited mid-week, nowhere near a holiday in late winter, so the resort and town were pretty empty. With pouring rain and an empty town doesn't sound like a great set-up, but we had a nice stay. The gas fireplace made the main room very cozy.

Close to town and short drive to lifts.
The location of the unit was at the end of the complex and the patio looked out over the road and woods. The couch was very comfy, perfect for dozing while watching TV and enjoying the gas fireplace. The beds in the second bedroom were a little worn out and saggy in the middle. It was super quiet! The dining room table was gorgeous! We were focused on snowboarding, so we did not try the pool or hot tub. Overall, we loved the condo and would stay again.

Extended weekend
Property was as to be expected based on reviews. It fit our needs and location was good. Master bed wasn’t very comfortable and was very noisy. If you toss and turn it is constantly squeaking. The kitchen was missing pot holders and selection on pots and pans wasn’t great but worked. We stayed MLK weekend so the place was busy. Our neighbors were very loud , but I think the walls are thin so not intentional. Due to the weekend being busy it was impossible to stream anything as everyone was bogging it down. I would bring dvd or just watch tv next time.

Condo was clean. Location was Awesome. Wish the condo was a little better stocked. No filters for coffeemaker, no laundry soap to be found. We were asked to start a load of laundry on our check out but could not due to no soap.. Ceiling started leaking on dining room table from upstairs bathroom on last night's stay. Response from maintainable was very propt. Just a little stressful for last nights stay. Overall condo was nice and stay was pleasant. Weathwr was perfect for two days of skiing!

The cleaning crew for this property is awful. On the morning of arriving, I received a text stating the condo was being cleaned and disinfected and we needed to wait until 4:00 to check-in. When we arrived, my kids and I were appalled at the lack of cleaning, especially during COVID. We ended up purchasing cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves. The condo is in desperate need of a deep clean, along with new bedding, while the kitchen lacks organization and many of the basic cooking utensils. Vacasa was very helpful and understanding, along with a quick response to my situation. It's not their fault for the local cleaning company's lack of care.

The location to Mt Hood and surrounding trails is superb however the unit was pretty dusty and worn. It appeared to have been sitting for some time and was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and plenty of towels were available. Beds were reasonably comfortable -

Great location but some cleanliness issues
Nice place but just had a few issues unfortunately. 3/5 stars for cleanliness. The second bedroom bed spread had some weird white stain on it and kinda set the cleanliness tone for us when we first got there. Also, sat on the rug in the living room and it smelled like dog pee. This place is dog friendly which I understand and we brought our dog as well. But maybe they should pet proof the place and 86 the rug altogether. Also they ask that we run the dishwasher before we leave. We were happy to do that until we opened up the dishwasher after our 2 night stay and saw an entirely filled up dishwasher. Guess they didn’t clear out the dishwasher from the last guests. There was no way we wanted to unload the dishwasher for them. It was like stuffed full and piled high. Again what is the point of us doing that if we are paying quite a hefty cleaning fee for just a two night stay. We just hand washed our stuff as it was a lot faster. Also found a dog bowl under the sink to fill with water for our dog but unfortunately found it was pretty dirty looking with dried up food bits on it so we decided not to use it. Luckily we brought our own from home.

Strong odor of grease and cigarettes, unit was not kept up
By the images the place looks nice, but unfortunately we arrived and the place smelled heavily of grease and cigarettes. The entrance to the unit was covered in ice making it near impossible to pull our car into the garage and the snow shovel was broken. I contacted vacasa and was told someone from the units management would contact me. Instead all I got was a maintenance guy dropping off paper towels and cleaner. So I had to scrub the kitchen myself..counters stove and floors. They were all covered in grease. I washed the kitchen rug which was all covered in grease. I’m am very upset I paid a large cleaning fee yet I show up and have to scrub someone else’s grease on my hands and knees. The rest of the unit was was sub par worth cleanliness. Sheets were stained and old and the carpet upstairs reaked. It smells like stale cigarettes so I imagine someone used to smoke there and they haven’t cleaned or replaced the carpet which was just gross. My daughter spilled water and I went to clean it up, my cloth came back black...black from the filthy carpet. Beyond that, almost everything in the unit is broken and dilapidated. The DVD player doesn’t work, the internet box is so old it doesn’t have an Ethernet and therefore forget about getting WiFi, although they claim they have it. The kitchen was sparse with just a few pots and pans but not enough to really make a meal with. Overall, this place was stayable, as in we did stay there, but it was a poor experience and we tried to stay out as much as possible. Do yourself a favor and don’t rent this place. Poor quality, not kept up, and apparently they don’t care because even when I called they didn’t even contact me as they said they would. If I was VAcasa I would drop this place until the owner makes some repairs.
