Race weekend
We came for the Tunnel Hill 100 race and enjoyed the proximity to Vienna, IL. The property is exactly as described and pictured. Check in and out, as well as communication were excellent. Would definitely stay again.

We saw 16 deer while standing on front porch one evening
The property was very clean and well equipped. Only thing needed was something to set suitcase on in main bedroom. Kitchen seemed well equipped Altho we did not need them because we were only there for a short time for a wedding. Our gps originally set us on the wrong path so went to Apple Maps and found it quickly. Would be very comfortable to sit and relax on the porch if you had the time to do so. Would definitely stay here again. The kids bedroom was fantastic—-even tho we didn’t have kids with us we noticed

Perfect spot

Beautiful Place to Rent
Very beautiful the owners were very polite and helped us with any questions we had about the area. The house is very clean and beautiful! Enjoyed sitting outside with all the deer, rabbits and birds.

The place was perfect for my needs. I rented another place on the lake and needed this for extra sleeping and parking. As it turns out, I did not need it for the extra parking, but it was very comfortable and clean and I enjoyed my stay

Long weekend getaway
We had a wonderful time in Goreville. The house was nice and clean. The host was prompt at answering our questions. We did some hiking at both Fern Clyffe State Park and Shawnee National Forest, checked out some wineries and the marinas, along with other towns nearby. Everything was very close to drive to. We ended each night on the porch, there’s a nice fire pit, but it was a little warm for that. We saw deer and a fox out in the yard. It was a very nice getaway.

Great place to stay
We had a lovely stay here. My family was in town traveling and had a great time. The house was clean, beds were nice, and there is a bunk bed room for kids which seemed fun. Its relatively close to the lake and the firepit out back was a big plus.
