Wilsons is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house located just off the Main Street of Golspie. This well thought-out property is stylishly designed throughout with comfortable furnishings and a large mezzanine area overlooking the Dornoch Firth.

Golspie village itself is a gem of the east coast of Sutherland, boasting an award-winning beach, an eighteen-hole golf course, and a range of outdoor activities suitable for all levels. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a history buff, or simply seeking relaxation, Golspie is the perfect place to stay for everyone.
Venture into the surrounding area to explore top-class mountain biking trails, the exhilarating Sutherland Kart Track, and the serene Little Ferry Nature Reserve. Golspie's renowned walking routes, including Balblair woods and the Ben Bhraggie hike, promise unforgettable adventures with breathtaking views across Sutherland and the North Sea.
For those with a penchant for history, a visit to Dunrobin Castle is a must. Just a short drive away, this magnificent castle stands as a testament to Scotland's rich heritage. Wilsons is located next to the A9 making it the ideal place for someone to stay if using Public Transport upon arrival or departure. The property is also very well lit at night due to the surrounding street lights.
Entry to Wilsons is through the side door of the property which is located down the alley to the left of the house.
Wilsons does not have allocated parking spots, however, there is free on-street parking available behind the property and along the A9. Please note that parking is limited and used by the public. There is usually no issue with parking space, however, availability is not 100% guaranteed.
On the ground floor you have the Kitchen, Dining room, Utility room, Lounge, Master bedroom & en-suite. The first floor has 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and a shower room.
The dining room is located at the rear of Wilsons with a large table to seat 6 guests and is the perfect place to enjoy a home cooked meal. The dining room also features large windows so that you can watch the sunrise with breakfast, or the sunsets during your evening meal.
The Kitchen has been beautifully designed to offer a cosy space for guests to create an evening meal together. The kitchen is fitted with an oven, electric hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and a breakfast bar to seat 4 people. It is also well-stocked with your typical kitchen essentials making it easy to prepare a home-cooked meal after a day of making memories. The breakfast bar is also an ideal workspace for those travelling for business.
The lounge has been designed to make the space feel cosy and really give it that home-away-from-home feeling. Not only is it very well decorated but it also features a log burner at the centre of the room and a Smart TV so that you can cosy up after a long day of exploring and catch-up with your favourite shows.
The Utility room is equipped with your washing machine, as well as your clothes horse, hoover and broom. There is also some space for storing golf clubs and trolleys too.
The master bedroom is located on the ground-floor and features a zip'n'link bed which can be set-up as a Super-King or 2 single beds. The master bedroom also features an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower.
Both bedrooms on the first-floor also host zip'n'link beds, and are fully equipped with bed linen and towels for throughout your stay. You will also find drawers, hangers, and hairdryers available for your use. By default, one bedroom will be set-up as a double room, and one will be set-up as a twin unless alterations are requested.
The first-floor also features an additional shower-room.
Not only is the house beautifully finished, but there is also a large fully-enclosed garden to the rear of Wilsons. Guests can enjoy the outdoor seating area which is perfectly located to take in the sea-views and relax with a morning coffee. This fully-enclosed garden also makes it the perfect place for any children or pets to burn off that last-minute energy before bed.
When travelling to Wilsons, we highly recommend researching your public transport routes or ensuring that you have access to a car.
Unfortunately, Golspie does not have access to apps such as Lyft or Uber, and our only modes of public transport are Bus (Stagecoach), Train (Scotrail), and the occasional private hire Taxi company.
