I booked a King room with an Ocean view at a fixed price with breakfast and got bumped down to a normal room with no breakfast for a much higher rate, we will never stay at VOCO again, never.

Excellent location, right next to the Surfers Paradise station and the Q1 sky observation tower. The building is a little old but luckily well maintained. Great breakfast buffet selection and friendly staff service. P.S. if you get the river view, you can get stunning sunset view all from the comfort of the room, which is also very warm during winter as the sun shines in during the colder times of the day.

Changed 3 rooms in 3 nights, our first room was not clean, hair found in the bed, dirty used towels, toilet paper had dust and mould etc on it. Second room our toilet wasn’t flushing properly and then clogged. 3rd room was fine but just extremely inconvenient to change EVERY night.

I recently stayed at the Voco Hotel Surfer Paradise in Queensland, and it was a great experience. The hotel provided a peaceful and clean environment, which was perfect for a relaxing stay. Its location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to all the local pubs and the town center, all within walking distance. We felt very safe throughout our stay. The staff were notably friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-situated place in Surfer Paradise.

Poor housekeeping and unfriendly!
The room's cleanliness and housekeeping are extremely poor, the carpet was not clean and never get vaccummed, and the cleaning tools were left on the chair, can you believe that! I told the front desk but they were indifferent! The staff are also very unfriendly, and the room has poor sound insulation, not recommended for staying.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Voco. The rooms are cosy but very clean and modern. The staff were super helfpul and the buffet breakfast is incredible. If you are planning on using public transport, the Surfers Paradise light rail station is right outside Voco - so convenient and easy to use!
