I’ve already provided this feedback but I’ll do it again….Expedia should be ashamed of themselves as should Marriott. Unbeknownst to myself, the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations across multiple floors simultaneously- the power tools being used to shatter and remove the ceramic tiles in the rooms were ridiculous- and started early everyday. I tried to get help from Expedia- that’s like trying to find a unicorn…I insisted on a full refund or another hotel immediately- I got neither. So I’m making it my mission to make everyone aware of the support or lack thereof one can expect from Expedia. I had to pay for my hotel but stay on my cousins pull out sofa an hour away from Glasgow. Miserable experience and deplorable treatment of a senior citizen

We stayed only one night. We arrived past the normal dining hours, but the restaurant staff served us dinner and were very pleasant. The desk staff graciously arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport at 5:30 the next morning.

Room has plenty of room with comfortable bed and fantastic blackout drapes. Very fine hot breakfast included every morning which was a surprise for us. Fitness and pool facilities are outstanding.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this hotel, once again the air conditioning in my room didn’t work and my room was far too warm, windows barely open and I had very bad sleep due to this.

I have stayed at Marriot’s all over the world and have never been in one like this, the bed was like sleeping on the floor and the pillows were crap, they are in the middle of renovations but to start drilling and hammering on the floor above at 8:00 in the morning made me want to go up there, I could have stayed in a number of other places but picked Marriot because I wanted a little nicer place. WASN’T THE CASE

We had good stay with the exception of some noise where they are doing work on building. This is our second stay at this hotel. It has a good location and walkable to Broadstreet and shops. Has bar and restaurant. Would stay again.

The staff here were absolutely first class: professional, polite and helpful. The food and service were excellent, and it's clear that the reception, bar and restaurant have had a fairly recent refurbishment. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but as of now (June 2024) they are in need of modernisation.

Hotel is undergoing renovation. Toilet didn't work properly all the time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location next to Anderston Scott Rail Station with connection to Glasgow Central Station and Exhibition Center. Walking distance to Glasgow Central Station. Hop-on-off Tour bus stop across the street. Nice indoor swimming pool.
