If this hotel was 3*, my overall score would have been higher. However as it's listed as 4* the room itself did not meet this standard. It was large but very dated and stuffy. There as also a leftover used towel behind the door in the bathroom.

I enjoyed my stay, my room was quiet, clean and a very good size and had everything I needed. Bed was also really comfortable. Smart TV would a nice addition. Staff were very friendly and the lobby area was nice. I enjoyed the English breakfast, fresh food and great coffee.

After reading a few negative reviews, my niece and I have no complaints. A warm welcome with tissues at hand for our rainsoaked brows. We werd upgraded to superior rooms, that were excellent. (Her room was huge compared to.mine). Great food in the restaurant, my fish was a meal on its' own. All in all a great stay thank you
