Great location in front of San Lorenzo Beach. You can walk to all major attractions, and there are lots of eating options around. The breakfast was good and included fruit, eggs, bread, coffee and pastries, and the breakfast area has a view of the beach. The room was spacious but the bed felt somewhat tight for two. Also, there was no air conditioning in the room, which is inconvenient on hot nights. The rate was pricey but we booked last minute in peak season.

This hotel was a little pricier than we normally get but high summer weekends in Gijon are BUSY! Best thing for me was the view of the beach from the room and especially from the breakfast room on the 9th floor. Step out the door and onto the Muralla beachside promenade. Parking is easy with a garage less than 50 meters away.

Great location, professional staff, nice property

Our first trip to Gijon and the hotel was a perfect location. Nice restaurants nearby, stores, everything you need. The breakfast was excellent and view overlooking the beach was a great way to start the day. Staff was very helpful, rang us cabs in seconds and answered all our questions. Room was comfortable, shower hot, it was nice to open the window for fresh air. Not a single complaint.

Comfortable hotel with a spacious suite corner room. Great view of sea. Good value for the cost. Bathroom is spacious and shower worked well. Excellent location to the corniche along the water and to restaurants and cafes in the central part of the town. Would stay again. Parking is around the corner from the hotel although we got lucky with a parking spot directly outside the hotel. Only had to pay up to 8 PM in eve and after 9 AM in morning. Friendly staff. Our rate included breakfast and it was a good basic continental breakfast.

Pity no hotel restaurant or bar was open - but not a problem since there are more of both than you can wave a stick at in Gijon and all within walking distance and of reasonable price and quality.
