Very Good

Great location and wonderful staff. Breakfasts were very good. Great shower temp and pressure.
My room was over the front door and across from the breakfast room, so it was loud. Walls pretty thin too (TV and conversations audible from next door). Aside of unfortunate positioning, great stay.
2 star experience for a 3 star price in a 4 star hotel - not recommended. When 'good location' is all you can say in its favour, well ... impossible to park (street parking if you can find any space), miserable breakfast in a hot and airless room, bedroom not cleaned and basic toiletries not replaced, no TV reception, window dressings don't eliminate light, noisy corridors, noisy communal garden out back with constantly barking dog, terrible WiFi connectivity, pointless room themes with shabby decor, civil staff but not particularly friendly - they all look quite apologetic to be honest. Very disappointing.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Room comfort
The hotel was nice and clean, our room had basic facilities, but it was quite nice. The only drawback (quite big) was the noice. There was second to none soundproofing to the corridor, or outside. Everything happening on the street or the staircase, was heard in the room. Soundproofing between rooms was good, just the door and windows were lacking.
Stay in Pica Paca was lovely, staff friendly and very clean. Only small minor would be our room was on 1st floor near breakfast and could hear people as soon as opened so would recommend closing breakfast doors but would definately stay again
nice hotel very centrally located to everything. Friendly staff who speak good english, warm clean rooms and although basic they have everything you need. Fantastic breakfast was included with my room and served by a very lovely lady. will gladly return here no problems
The apartment is in a great location - just outside the old town. It is a little tricky to find, especially due to the extensive road works in the area, our GPS proved next to useless.
The furniture in the apartment is quite dated, but functional. The apartment itself is very spacious. There is no washer.
To get to the apartment you need to enter through reception, walk up a couple of flights of stairs (no lift), the apartment is in the back of the building. Exiting is easier, you can use the lift in the building next door, but as no key is provided we could only use it for exiting, not for entry. If you have luggage to carry up, get someone to hold the door open for you so you can use the lift. The location in the back of the building means it's fairly isolated from the partying crowds outside.
Free street parking is available just outside reception, although it does get busy on weekends.
Overall not a bad place to stay while visiting Gdansk old town.
Great location in old town Gdansk! Great service, ready for us whenever we got there, great nice sized room, bathroom, highly recommend, perfect location. We had a car so unlike most other hotels, they had free parking.
My reservation was mixed up. I got a room with broken flooring and chipping walls. Not happy at all. Got a refund of £44 out of £400 I paid for a 4 night saty.
I was impressed with the alacrity of staff. Whole experience would have been superb except one thing. There was No toilet door which is adjacent to the bed. Imagine you are sitting on the toilet seat and your partner in lying on the bed next to you... :))
Welcome to the modern contemporary style...:)
Fantastic hotel. The building next door was being renovated so the staff put us in an apartment out the back which was HUGE. Really clean room and hotel, nice friendly staff, lovely breakfast and brilliant location close to lots of nice restaurants and bars. Already planning a trip back.
This hotel is very centrally located only minuites from the main street and the river The hotel staff are very pleasant and will always assist you as much as they can. Its only a smallish hotel and the rooms are clean but quite minimalistic in furniture and design. My only gripe is the pillows way too small and soft , but thats personal preference!. Breakfast is more than adequate served by smiling helpful multilingual staff. I would not hesitate to recommend and will be revisiting in December!
The purpose of our stay was to visit historical sites of interest in Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia and Kashubian. The hotel was very well located, near to the Green Gate and the Maritime Museum. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. They facilitated any queries we had, at any time, especially relating to transport. The room was very clean. As English speakers, we would have liked a few more English TV channels. Fortunately, we were able to use the WiFi. The breakfast menu offered a wide range of choices and the staff were very accommodating. If you wish to explore Gdansk and have a comfortable base to return to, we can recommend the Pica Paca Hotel.
The hotel is rated 4star I would say its a good 3star not 4star the room was very dark other wise clean but no way 4star rating. Breakfast was good staff were polite
We with my wife took two rooms as we visit Gdansk with our little yorkshire. The rooms (Albert Einstein and Galileo Galiley suites they call them, ) were rather spacey, with good beds, modern furniture in bathrooms, minibars, TV sets
with flat screens.Very nice girls at the reception and in the breakfast room.
