Isaac who checked us in was nice. Free chocolate chip cookies were out then, very good. They're out from 4PM til they're gone. 1st & 2nd days, Wed/Thurs room was cleaned. Fri was 3rd day, room wasn’t cleaned so sheets weren't changed either which they were supposed to be on 3rd day. Isaac was working & offered to send house keeping up but I said they could just come dump garbage & bring few items we needed which they did right away. Free popcorn is from 7-10PM, it was good too. Good selection for breakfast & staff was Great at keeping it filled up to end at 10AM. I enjoyed outdoor pool, seemed to be saltwater, not chlorine, about 83° which was great temp since it was 90°out. Plenty of pool towels which you get from indoor pool/hot tub area. Hotel is in good location; close to lots of restaurants & attractions. We enjoyed our balcony to watch ducks, geese & water. We had adjoining room with our friends as requested. You couldn't see each other out on our balconies so we brought their 2 chairs over to our balcony & we all fit, lol. I would recommend this hotel. Would of given 5 stars if it wasn't for house keeping mishap but to be fair, the hotel sign said they're hiring.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Inn on the River! The rooms were tidy and modern. The continental breakfast was delicious - included eggs, sausage links, biscuits & gravy, etc. the location was ideal; perfectly located in the middle of the pigeon forge strip, many restaurants and activities located within walking distance. Tons of parking. The staff was lovely and helpful. The cherry on top was the complimentary popcorn in the evening and cookies during the day. We would definitely recommend a stay and will absolutely stay here in future!

Everyone there was so friendly. Every day at 4 PM they make fresh chocolate chip cookies and starting at 6 PM. They make popcorn. There’s nice places to sit outside and feed the ducks.

Room wasn't ready for check in at designated time. Check out process was delayed due to computer issues. Still haven't received a reciept from check out and it's been 12 hours since checking out. Otherwise breakfast is pretty substantial. Good views from the outdoor patio area, walkable to attractions. Indoor and outdoor pool exist.

Nice staff, good cookies at 4 pm, and a popcorn machine after 7 pm. Breakfast was not bad for the price. For convenience would probably stay there again.

It was conveniently located and walkable to several restaurants. The fresh popcorn and cookies at night were a nice treat. The only negative was kids/teenagers being loud in the hallway at midnight.

This was the Best Place I have stayed in a long time. It was absolutely Wonderful. The Staff was of the utmost attentive and caring. I felt very safe here and like I was Upper Class because of the Fabulous Treatment from the Staff. Even the Maintenance Man Named Micheal Was so Awesome! He was so Friendly and took the time to get to know my husband and myself. The Front Desk Crew Listened and were very compassionate. I would stay here again just because of this. Convienent location. Nice facility. Breakfast options were ok. Issue with loud noise and banging on doors at 5am. When reported to staff no resolution. Disturbance happened the next night as well. Loud banging and knocking then on windows as well. No action from staff. Disappointing.

Inn on the River
This was oue first time staying at this hotel. It was very clean and inviting. Live music on the patio, cookies and popcorn every night were delicious. Good selection for breakfast. Staff was super friendly and though it was right on the parkway it was still a pleasant stay becauae of location right next to the river. One suggestion I have is rework the path down to the river and lengthen it to extend the full length of the hotel. Maybe some nice landscaping along the path with the bath having a border on both sides and maybe small river rock/pea gravel betqeen the large stepping stones instead of just wildly growing grass. Would make the experience thay much better.
