The rooms felt neglected. Usual water popping sound from bathroom is very disturbing. And there is a regular trash pickup from parking lot during early morning around 2:00am, that is very disturbing.

Convenient location, having the river right outside of our door was lovely. Very good breakfast with hot food like eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausages, and pancakes along with things like cereal, bagels, and yogurt. Good directions at check-in as to where everything was and appreciated the sheet on bear safety as black bears are often seen in this area. Beds were reasonably comfortable -- though on the soft side - and everything in the room was functional in terms of appliances. The only negative thing I will say is that housekeeping felt a bit subpar during the stay and when we arrived they'd failed to clean out the coffee pot from the last guests which was a pretty big oversight. Overall, we would stay again for the comfort, location, and amenities.

The view was good we got to see a bear up close and personal we were bringing our things in and the door was open and I turn around and there was a bear coming in the door i just slowly moved to the door and I talked to it like it was a dog and said go on back out and it did it was the best part of our stay my daughter in law and I loved it and it goes to the back and in the creek and she gets pictures of it and talked to it like a dog this was the best part of our stay

We loved the room and the fireplace was awesome and felt good! The room had lots of space and a bathtub fit for a king. The staff was wonderful and even let us check in a little early. I didn't feel like we had a honeymoon suite because it was not any different than any other room, but the price!! I will definitely book here again. Thanks for a comfortable room.

Brookside Lodge was the perfect option for us during our trip. The rooms were spacious for us to get our backpacking gear together and the view of the river with the in room fireplace set the perfect tone for our trip. We enjoyed the near by pizza place and found it quite but well situated just outside the busy area. The staff were all incredibly friendly. We highly recommend choosing Brookside Lodge as it’s the right price for the right place!

Very clean room other than carpet could be replaced with new carpet or hard wood floors. Has a beautiful view and cabin feel to it. In a good quiet location. Walking distance to every you would like to see or shop. Front desk was very kind and helpful. Id stay there again

Did not appear the toilet had been cleaned upon check in. Didn’t receive any room service the first day. I had to call to get fresh towels for the bathroom. Found a pair of socks under the bed. The beds were never made (nor sheets changed) the entire stay, nor was the bathroom cleaned.

I loved sitting on the balcony watching the brook flowing past the resort. It was the perfect time to watch the leaves fall. I loved feeling safe and comfortable and enjoying the quiet. Parking was easy. Staff was very friendly and most helpful.
