Loved the old vintage vibe of the hotel. We saw bears multiple times throughout our stay. Downtown Gatlinburg was only a 10 min walk. The creek outside our balcony was extremely pretty as well.

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a nice suite creekside balcony was nice . Only thing about the room maybe new carpet . But overall had good stay breakfast was ok . I would stay again.

This is an older hotel complex with a quick and nice staff on entry. The room was large and along a creek. Price was right. We like older and non-chain hotels, so this was fine. Breakfast was marginal. There are plenty of places that are walking distance for food, and the trolly buses make a stop near the hotel to go around Gatlinburg. It was decently clean except for the floor. I had black on the bottom of my feet after 20 minutes and they were sticky. It is not an uncommon problem if the staff uses the wrong cleaner or does not clean.

This place was hands down the best hotel of our trip. Quiet, comfortable, clean and they care. The free breakfast was great! The pool and hot tub were wonderful as well. Very pleasant staff too!

Wish they didn’t have carpet in the rooms. I know the rooms were very clean but the carpet always makes me stay in shoes. Very nice area with the Brock in the back. Fun part were the bears that are known to wonder
