This is a decent hotel to stay at if you here overnight for a cruise departure. The hotel is CLOSE to the beach. This means the area is subject to A LOT of moisture, humidity, and water/flooding. The staff is good, the rooms are comfortable, but there will be some smells and sand about because of this location. Keep this in mind before leaving a poor review. Overall, this is a nice hotel for a single stay and I would stay here again when cruising. The price is affordable and close to the beach

The only complaint I have is that our ceiling was leaking when we woke up the next morning. Luckily our clothes that were in the couch didn’t get wet. When we spoke to the front desk clerk that morning he seem to not care and stated that the room we were in always leak. Why would you put someone in a room knowing that the ceiling leaks?!

The staff was WONDERFUL...and our ADA room was very large and accommodating - however-our room smelled very musty. The toilet did not operate correctly from the time we arrived on Thursday evening to the time we left Saturday morning. Initially - it wouldn't flush and then after maintenance came on Friday afternoon - the flushing worked but the tank continued to run through out the night. The breakfast was your typical fare. Not great-but something to eat. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. The location is great!

Excellent customer service
Hotel was comfortable, very good customer service. The only complaint, the pet odor is very apparent but would stay again. Arrived at 1am from a long drive and the clerk was amazing! Very accommodating. Our family has taken many cruises out of Galveston, we will add this hotel to our preferred choices.

The beds are to firm for my and my others taste, also the shower didn’t have hot water after 8 pm it was more lukewarm then hot, also the pressure of the shower wasn’t that great either Breakfast was pretty good. The hotel was clean and updated just a few things would have made it better.

This hotel is absolutely horrible. The staff is extremely rude and refused a refund after mold and roaches were found in the room. They stated “file a claim” as a response. The night audit called our room at 1:45 in the morning demanding the luggage cart back. I told him it was already by the elevator, he insisted I leave my room and push the button to send it back down to him!!! I told her I was already in my night wear and he didn’t seem to care. There was mold all over our ceiling from the last storm they had, and the humidity was so bad in our room that our bedding was soaked upon arrival. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

Very clean! Staff was friendly enough, but one front desk clerk wasn't very helpful and didn't really help with any questions we had about getting around and about what was in the area. The other front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.

Room had a very bad stinch and shower area was not cleaned very well. It was hard trying to find parking by days end. The breakfast options in the morning at the buffet were extremely limited. A waffle was the highlight of thee food options.
