"The restaurant is closed and the property in general appears to be abandonned. The owner was not aware of our booking so I had to phone her to be able to check in. Personally I don’t think this pension is good publicity for Expedia."

"We had a very enjoyable and relaxing fortnight at Jerome’s lovely villa. The setting was absolutely stunning and the villa very comfortable and spacious. Beautiful views from every window and terrace. The swimming pool was very much enjoyed by the family, very clean and a good size for swimming. The villa is also well located, within a short drive to amenities and lovely hilltop tows but peaceful and not overlooked. Jerome was a great host, always quick to respond to any questions and generous with his knowledge of the region. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Jerome. "

"Back in 1970 this was probably a lovely hotel, unfortunately it’s not been touched since and is now very dated, worn and unkempt. The area outside is filthy and much of the local area is semi derelict. Soundproofing is non existent so you’d better hope for considerate neighbours. "

"The property was so authentic and beautiful. Dated but for us this was a good thing as it felt local and special. Paqui was extremely helpful even though he didn’t speak much English, his daughter helped communicate with us via WhatsApp and gave us lots of recommendations and support with travel. We were hoping to use taxis but because of the villa location this is not possible all the time so if you’re staying here you should definitely get a Hire car! The biggest supermarket was 17 min drive away and there was a petrol station about 8 min drive that sold all the basics. We had 2 nights out in the town where we drove one car in (2 trips) and got 2 taxis back to the villa and collected the car the next day using the other car (9 of us in total went) The views were incredible and the beds comfy. Air con was awesome! It felt like home the minute we arrived. Paqui also provided fresh veg! We were all very sad to leave the villa and are missing it a lot. We hope to return! Absolutely stunning!
