Mooswald near Fresach is located in the Millstätter See - Bad Kleinkirchheim - Nockberge tourist region, directly in the Alpe-Adria region and offers numerous tourist attractions and sporting activities. Lake Millstätter See, also called the jewel of Carinthia, offers a particularly idyllic, warm and southern atmosphere due to its proximity to Italy. The lake is picturesquely located between the Carinthian Nockberge, has a water temperature of around 27 degrees and offers lots of water sports and different beaches.

Alternatively, the public swimming pools in Paternion and Radenthein offer lots of swimming fun in summer!

The region also offers numerous hiking trails, bicycle and mountain bike tours, all kinds of events and excursion destinations and a wide range of culinary highlights.
