The hotel was adequate but the bed was extremely hard. I tossed and turned all night trying to find a comfortable position. I like a firm mattress but this one was way too hard.

Wonderful Country Stay
We will definitely stay here again next summer. The room has enough space to have stuff and walk around. The internet is strong enough for doing work from the room. The room was clean. Upon entering , it was warm, but the wall unit cooled the room down fairly quickly. There aren't drawers, but the shelves work for putting your stuff. The only room "negative" was the fridge didn't have a freezer section so I couldn't refreeze my ice pack. The pool does not get deep and could use some new loungers, but it was cool and good for relaxing in hot summer. I'm not sure what the expectation for towel use was, so check with the desk first. Breakfast has a good variety with fruit, breads, cereals, hard-boiled eggs, various hot beverages, and juice. The breakfast space was also well maintained. Just know it is over at 9:30 including on the weekend. Outside feels safe even later at night. The staff is kind and friendly!

Clean and quiet
Clean rooms, Comfortable beds, great water pressure, quiet area, and clean pool. Only thing was our room was close to the elevator and I could hear it ding into the night. The sink bowl would spew water because of the way it is shaped but after a few times you learn not to turn the sink on all the way.

The rooms need an update. I was in an access room and the seat was coming apart and mold was between the splits. I also think the front staff needs to be educated about ADA accessibility and service dogs. I was told I had to have a certificate/card for my service dog. I advised that she could not ask for documentation, but could ask if 1) my dog was in fact a service dog and 2) what service my animal provided. She continued to insist that I had to have a card to prove my animal was an assistance animal. FinallyI just told her I'd pay the additional pet fee and review that they did not follow ADA guidelines. In the end my service dog was allowed, a somewhat heated conversation happened, and it was an awkward stay to say the least. I wouldn't go back. Fredericksburg has a dozen cute hotels. Pay the little extra and go somewhere that has updated digs.

Loved how clean and updated the hotel was. First time I've been in a hotel with so many tv channels were available. This place was pretty quiet too. We stayed on the top floor as to not have anyone above us. We did not attend breakfast. Will definitely come back to this hotel

Nice hot water immediately in the shower. Not sure why the space at the bottom of the bed is covered with a piece of metal. It clangs loudly if you happen to hit it with your foot and creaks when getting in or out of bed. The AC was not automatic and was not on when we arrived; had to run the fan all night and it was kind of loud. Complementary breakfast was alright. Staff barely acknowledged our presence when checking in and never said another word to us when we left or returned to the hotel. Cheap, thin TP supplied. Hotel and area was quiet except for some guys blaring music for several hours in the evening in the parking lot who left their beer trash. Value for the price was as expected and would stay there again.
