We had been to Cactus Coterie before about a year ago and knew what to expect. The setting is peaceful and quiet even though right off 290. The curtains could have used a washing, and the coffee was only enough for one day. But all in all, it was a great relaxing stay with easy check in and out.

Can't wait to go back
Experience serenity and privacy at its finest! Nestled at the back of the property, our stay was filled with peace and tranquility. We were treated to daily visits from deer, adding a touch of magic to our mornings and evenings. The accommodation was well-equipped and cozy, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This location is a definite addition to our favorites list!

It was small and cozy. This was the perfect place to celebrate our 25th anniversary. In the evenings you can relax in hot tub and see the deer. Our last night there, a herd of deer were walking through as we relaxed in hottub. There were not spooked by us outside and stayed long enough to eat and let the fawns played. This is just what we needed to enjoy the surroundings. Will book again.

Beautiful place!
Let’s start with the only downside….the hot water. Shower would turn ice cold within 1-2mintues. I did inform them and they are on it though. Place is gorgeous! Perfect location to enjoy the stars and watch the deer. Looking for a couples getaway this is the place to do it. Hands down would stay all over again.

Short and sweet
Being at the end of the property it was very private. The dwelling was very clean. We had a family of deer feeding within a few hundred feet each day. We were close to Fredericksburg and just a few mins. to several nice wineries. We had a good time.
