Enjoy the stars, sunsets, and wildlife in an 1800 square foot luxurious country barn apartment located 15 minutes west-southwest from downtown Fredericksburg on property once part of the historic Morris Ranch. The master bedroom has a new king bed and another downstairs bedroom has a set of twin beds as well as a Peleton. Above the living room is a large loft with queen bed. Main bathroom has claw foot tub and large glass shower. Kitchen has plenty of counter space with full sink, electric oven, microwave, coffee pot, and full size refrigerator. Open concept kitchen and living area view native pasture frequented with deer, turkey, squirrels, and occasional red fox. Living area has leather couch and chair. Flat screen Television with DVD and VHS player. Red Barn has WI-FI and internet service. Lots of movies for your use. Does not have television service from antenna or satellite. Cellular phones generally work at this location. Kitchen countertop bar seats 4. Dining table seats 4.

There are many miles of paved county roads available from this location to bicycle or ride the motorcycle.

The place felt homely. It was very throughout. We had fresh flowers in the kitchen, game boards for the kids, a pool table and horses to pet. Their dogs are very friendly too! I highly recommend this place.

Amazing Property
Our family had an amazing time on this property. The owner of the home is great, made sure we had everything we needed. This place is amazing, the home itself was exceptional, very clean and well stocked, has everything you could need. The kitchen was fully stocked, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, chairs to sit outside by firepit. Plenty of room for the family and we had a great time with the pool table and watching the horses. Would definitely recommend this home, and plan to rebook on the next trip.

Pictures don’t do it justice
This place was FANTASTIC! So peaceful and quiet. The pictures really don’t show how beautiful the home and property is. The place was also immaculately clean. Beds were comfy and the rooms were nice and dark with no light pollution. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals and plenty of glassware options to choose from which was a bonus. Anytime we’re in Fredericksburg this will be our new go to place!

Weekend get away.
This place is amazing, the home itself was exceptional, very clean and well stocked, has everything you could need. While we didn’t cook, if we had the kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, chairs to sit outside and enjoy your morning coffee. Morning visit by the family dogs were great, just like being at home. The owner of the home is great, made sure we had everything we needed, even brought a little welcome gift. The kids liked playing pool and watching the horses out their bedroom window. Would definitely recommend this home.

Great place for our getaway
We enjoyed our stay at the barn. Beds was comfortable and the rooms had plenty of space. The pool table was a big hit and we had a really good time playing. Enjoyed watching the horses. They we so calm and friendly. It was a good break from our busy life to just relax and enjoy our surroundings.

Beautiful property
My husband and I stayed and loved the property. The horses are beautiful, the dogs even paid us a visit a few times and they were so sweet. The house was super clean, had a huge shower. The pool table was super cool we enjoyed hanging out and playing. My only complaint is that it needs a little updating in the kitchen utensils and measuring cups. The measuring cup has no markings what so ever, we didn’t make many meals. But I did make breakfast and I forgot my measuring cup and they had one luckily but no markings. Also the TV, we were looking for a staycation and the TV isn’t updated and doesn’t have the apps on it where you can login to your accounts. These things are very minor, and didn’t make us enjoy our stay any less. We loved our stay and enjoyed our time there. I would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful place to get away from it all
We had a great time staying in the barndominium. The accommodations were picturesque. We loved being in the country with all the animals and wild life. The owners were friendly and accommodating. We changed our arrival time because they suggested a local event we knew nothing about. We got there in time for the event and it was great! We would definitely stay there again.

Great Barndominium
This bardominium is a dream to stay in. It is decorated in a homey and comfortable way so you feel like your at home when you arrive. There was a candle for us and plenty of firewood for the firepit. The dogs were friendly and welcomed us when we arrived. The beds were comfy and kitchen had everything we needed. The owner lives on the property and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is a bit isolated but there is internet and it is a beautiful place to stay. We will definitely return in the future.

Quiet & A Great Get A Way
The property is a great family getaway from the busy city life. The house is on the property with the homeowners but you definitely feel like you have your own space. They have horses & cattle that roam the property - which is kind of cool! It is a great place to take a long walk, nap on the patio, roast some smores. We went into the city and I kind of wished we would have just hung out on the property. It is about a 20 min drive to downtown Fredricksburg and there are no restaurants around so I suggest bringing food & drinks with you. Bring sunblock, bug spray, a flash light, and a good book!

Quite and peaceful
Our family had an amazing time on this property. The layout of the barndominium was awesome. Plenty of room for the family and we had a great time with the pool table . It was nice to see all the stars at night and the mornings you could see the deers. The horses roamed freely and the kids loved them. They were peaceful and let themselves be pet . Fredricksburg was a short distance ( 12 minutes) and plenty of wineries nearby. We would definitely stay here again

Great getaway to relax
We had a great girls' (3) getaway weekend. The property has lovely surroundings with roaming deer in the evenings and mornings. This dwelling is on the property where Mark and his family live. They were all very friendly and accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked, the family room comfortable and the bedrooms spacious and peaceful. I would recommend if you want to get away from it all or away but close enough to town to enjoy the shops and restaurants. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, as well as star gazing are things we don't often see inside the big city of Houston. Oh, and horses outside your bedroom window - that, too! Awesome! We had a wonderful time!

Refreshing Country Getaway
The Barndominium was super cute! Pool table was fun, comfortable beds. Amazing claw foot bath tub, refreshing rain shower. We really enjoyed sitting outside at night Star Gazing. The owner brought us fresh eggs for breakfast. Coffee maker took a while, but the coffee and creamer they had were delicious!

We really enjoyed staying here. My friend and our wives stayed. The place was super clean. Mark was an awesome host. We played pool and multiple games, and drove the short drive into Fredericksburg. Overall it was an awesome place to stay and I am sure we will be back!
