Hotel and room were very clean, breakfast was pretty good, the stay was good and would definitely recommend! Keep in mind though that the traffic noise on main highway out front of the hotel could be heard throughout the night while in the room...so you have to tune it out!

The stay was much as expected. We love the bedding and linens at HI Express and the breakfast. Two issues: foul odor from just mopped areas and barking dog in a room near our room.

Down: Very noisy and heavy trafficked area due to I-95 being close. One can hear engines of trucks, trailers/loaders, police/ambulance sirens, etc even at midnight. Good: Plenty of options to buy food or groceries, gas stations with convenience stores. Target right behind location. Liked bed and pillows, and the Kierug.

I was just crashing for the night on a trip between New York and Florida so I didn’t get to experience the area. However, the hotel was great! It was clean, and it was well lit in the common areas even late at night when I got there. The staff was friendly and I can’t say enough about that amazing pancake machine! I only gave one area four stars under property condition because the room looked like they were patching the walls, but never painted them and the TV didn’t work. No biggie because I was only there overnight and I didn’t investigate further. Overall great hotel, staff and amenities!

You could tell it was renovated at some point, but maybe some areas like the bathrooms could not be completed. The tub/toilet were old, but the vanity/sink were upgraded. The rest of the unit with the exception of the phone were upgraded. and you can tell they make a great effort to make sure the rooms are clean. Lastly, a quiet time policy needs to be implemented-guests have convos in the halls & let the doors slam @2am Pretty noisy late at night. Overall, the hotel staff work hard to make the guests feel comfortable.

Great stay and quality for the price
This was one of the nicest (and inexpensive) hotels we stayed at during our trip. It seemed as though this was a brand new hotel. Everything was modern and clean. The room was plenty big and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was our room faced the outside parking lot/street and we heard some strange noises (perhaps from the restaurant/pub nearby?) very late at night/early in the morning. The breakfast had more options than other hotels we had stayed, but it would have been nice to have more fruit offered. Overall, if we were in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good place bad situation.
Hotel was nice , clean, staff was very pleasant. I was pleased until 4am when a diesel truck outside my 1st floor room was started and idled filling my room with fumes that made me cough and eyes burn. No window open. No ac on. Just seeped in. This is not entirely the hotels fault, but a “no idling” sign, or a designated area for diesel trucks to park is warrented.
