It was our second visit to this place, and it was just as wonderful as our first. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the outdoor area is simply amazing. It’s a family-friendly resort with four outdoor fires and fireplaces that provide warmth on chilly evenings. There’s also a hot tub that connects to one of the pools, making it warm enough for swimming in the fall. I love the location; it’s conveniently located near Main Street and restaurants.

We stayed at this hotel this past weekend, and although we’ve been coming here for years, this was the first time we experienced something like this — or at least the first time I’ve noticed how dirty and neglected the room was. There was a shocking amount of dust and dirt that had clearly been accumulating for a long time. The bathtubs and exhaust fans had mold, the bathroom floors were dirty, and the carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in ages. The bedsheets had someone else’s hair on them, and so did the shower. Overall, it was a terrible experience that I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through. I understand that the building may not be the newest, but that doesn’t justify the visible dirt everywhere — it was impossible to ignore. I’m truly disappointed. I recommend that everyone check the sheets and the bathtub before getting into bed or taking a shower. Even the shower handle was extremely dirty and moldy. I reported everything the next morning and requested that the room be cleaned and the towels replaced. I was assured that someone would take care of it, but that never happened. We left the room in the morning and returned around 2:45 PM, and nothing had been cleaned — the dirty towels were still on the floor. Later that night around 9 PM, when we came back to sleep, the room still hadn’t been touched. Absolutely unacceptable.

It’s an old fashioned motel, where you parked outside of your room, that’s been updated - we loved it. Clean room (could have used a table in the bathroom for toiletries & clothes) & great outdoor spaces. It was quiet & very walkable to restaurants & shopping. We would stay here again.
