This is an old hotel and it shows. The rooms are in desperate need of an update (the CRT televisions are a giveaway) , the bed sagged and I remember the plastic surround on the bathroom mirror had deformed. My wife immediately noticed the strong smell of cleaning solutions but my problem was the noise - you could either open the window and listen to the trucks passing on the main road or turn on the air conditioner which was incredibly loud so either way we couldn't sleep. Although this is rated as a 3-star hotel, I'd give it 2 at best. (Travelocity: if you read this, please send someone out and do an inspection.)
All the staff were helpful, we did very much like a young man who was the only one who spoke any English. They do serve a great breakfast.
Although we prepaid for 3 nights, we abandoned it after just 1 and went to stay at the Ibis Hotel which was clean, modern, quiet, in a better area and and actually slightly cheaper.
