We were in town for a weekend visit with our TCU student and were really only at the house to sleep and change, so we didn’t cook or hang out much.
The Host is very communicative and responsive to all our needs (I’m reactive to air freshner, and that was easily taken care of once I brought it to his attention).
As for location, while I did read the reviews that there is a train “nearby”, the tracks are literally parallel to the house just a few feet from the back fence. The first night the middle of the night trains jolted me out of my sleep, the second night I got used to it. But I felt it was important enough that it should be in the listing. Also, important to note that there are two of the same address in FW (one with a “west”) and this also confused things when I was checking for proximity of the railroad tracks ahead of time.
That said, it was a very close drive to campus, though not walkable.
The house was quite spacious with all you would need and I feel confident the host would go out of his way to accommodate any needs.
