Nice clean, quiet older hotel that was a great stop on a long trip from Alaska.

The hotel was just ok - pretty old, but reasonably clean. It appears a completely new building is under construction. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful.

Won't stay again.
Booked 6 hours before arrival. They had no idea when I showed up. Lady working night desk was very confused and not able to check online reservations. And they were out of the bed type I had reserved because she didn't know we were arriving.

Okay place to stay.
The hotel is older, and they are building a new Ramada adjacent to the existing. I had a room with a kitchenette, which worked out okay for meals.
Staff were friendly.
In my room, the bathroom was small, and the door opens into toward the toilet so it is a little cramped when using it.
Nice, clean, friendly place to stay. Bit dated but comfortable.

Basic Hotel with friendly staff
Stayed here just one night, price was very reasonable, staff was especially friendly, made you feel like you were at a Bed and Breakfast. Room was clean with a fully kitchen. This is a no frills basic place to stay with great value overall. Would be fine if you have children, though no pool for them to burn off energy. Easy parking, simple continental breakfast with homemade muffins that were tasty.
We got in late to the hotel and woke up the proprietor...got in right away! Comfy bed, clean room...would stay there again!

Tough in Fort nelson winter 2015/16
Things must be tough on hotel business, this winter. Only two vehicles in the parking lot. The room was as clean as it could be.
The staff was friendly, and offered a unsolicited discount. Thanks
Would I stay there again. I would have no problems, mainly because I am guy, and I understand they are just hanging on. But I think most women will likely be demanding a room change.
very friendly staff, good hotel and homemade continental breakfast!

I'd wait for the new Ramada to be built
The pictures show a hotel online but it is also has a motel which they tried to put us in. The hotel room we got was fine until we checked the connecting room door and found the lock to be broken so it was not a good sleep being worried if that room was rented out that someone could walk into ours.
It was a nice visit. Would go there again. I don't see anything that says there is a minimum word use on this, so I'm annoyed by the survey. The hotel was good though.
We arrived just about midnight driving from Whitehorse and I was so relieved that we were still able to ring for after hours staff to check in! The staff was so friendly and was quick to help us when we got our key stuck in the door lock! Room was clean and just what we needed. They provided a great breakfast too (hot breakfast sandwich). Would stay here again. Many thanks!
It was very clean, convenient location and catered to us travelling with our cat!

Old Motel.
We did not realize it was an older motel as we expected a hotel. They are building a new facility and will be ready in about a year. There were other better properties available which we would have chosen. Breakfast was fine and pleasant staff. It was a two story older motel.
When I hear Ramada I think of a medium to large chain hotel, this was a motel with a Ramada sign. The room was tiny and just had enough room for the bed which was suppose to be a queen but looked more like a double. The only way I would ever stay in this motel again is if there were no other rooms in Fort Nelson.
The towels were so thin we didn't think we could use them to dry off. The shower was terrible, with the pipe sticking out of the wall about 3". We had 2 queen beds, one looked like it was shot so we slept in the other. Breakfast was ok. The best thing was the warm muffins, not much else of worth. We had a full size old refrigerator in our room that made an odd noise. Would I ever stay there again? Heck no, I would sleep in the car first. We paid too much and was such a waste of our money. We will be doing a lot of traveling over the summer but will no. t consider another Remada Inn nor would I recommend one to a friend. You really need to have someone check out the places that use your name.

I dont recomend room 229
The room I stayed in was very clean and well kept but it had noisy walls. It creaked and groaned all night long. It sounded as though there was something moving inside the walls and I woke up 3 or 4 times due to this noise. Thought a Ramada was a little better than that.

Quiet
Fine for a quick visit. Nothing special. Rather Expensive for the type of accommodation offered. Is a Quiet area so no sleep interruption.
Traveling through on our way to Alaska this hotel was clean, spacious, and the staff was the friendliest on our entire trip. The gal at the desk was helpful and even called us by our first names when we called down from our room to ask questions and where we could find things in town. Great family run business with top grade service. Breakfast in the morning included visiting with the family members father who comes for breakfast to spend time with his daughter. What a treat! All around we were tickled pink with this place. With little places to chose from I can guarantee you won't be disappointed. I'm picky about service and cleanliness and this place was grade A!
