Front desk employee was not groomed had on slippers, jeans and a T-shirt on. The front had a bad smell and there were crack heads walking around no shoes dirty and hanging around in and out of the hotel. Unbelievable I did not stay room was not well put and just dirty
The staff wasn’t kind. The clerk desk always had a bad mood. The entire property was so nasty. There was bad odor and humidity in the room.
The cafeteria was the unique place confortable and clean. The woman who was in charge of cafeteria was extremely organized and fill.
We couldn’t sleep. The next room people were too loud and We could heard them clearly. Rooms are not private at all. Literally, my family and I couldn’t sleep until 4-5 am .

The noise of other guests and the lack of action of the staff was a deterrent for us to stay again in the property. No room service, no cleaning. The pictures on the add are old. There is no ATM in the lobby, even though they required $200 deposit and would not take my credit card. Had to go across the street the circle K to withdraw money, which was an inconvenience after driving 3.5 hours.
Required a $200 cash deposit upon registration, the Web site says it is pet friendly so we brought or two small dogs. Upon check out we were told they were holding the $200 deposit because our dogs got out of the room and ran down the hall and they had it on camera. They didn't damage anything but just ran and I retrieved them in about 30 sec. Seem like a scam to get an extra $200
Building was run down and deserved a renovation throughout. Ripped curtains, broken shower stall, burnt out light bulbs and only one remote control for 2 separate televisions. Limited breakfast in the morning. Major issue was the need of facility upkeep.
Hotel’s convenient and cheap for a quick nights stay before your flight at RSW, but other than that not the greatest experience. We weren’t told ahead of time that they only take credit or cash for the deposit (NO DEBIT) so we had to walk across the street to get cash. I’ve never heard of a policy like this. The employees attitude at check in was far from welcoming. We also weren’t given the wifi password so we tried calling the front desk multiple times to no avail. Aside from the strange deposit policy and poor customer service, the room was also in very poor shape. You can tell they haven’t renovated in a very very long time. We stayed in room 316 and the door was either super old or previously kicked in because it didn’t close properly and we were unable to use the deadlock. Luckily we felt we were in a safe enough location to be able to just rely on the latch lock for the couple of hours we stayed. So I guess you could count that as one of this hotels few pros.
