The resort is very nice and the property is practically new since I believe it opened around December. There is dining on the property which is pretty good, JWB comes to mind. They have a very nice coffee spot and another location for breakfast and brunch on weekends. The pool area is a favorite for many, we ourselves are saltwater people so did not really use the pool. There is absolutely no food or drinks allowed to be bought into the pool area including if you can believe it cups. The staff does check all bags being bought into the pool area. About the cups, the one thing that was a topic a conversation with many since its really hot out there and the drinks and beer get hot quick out there. Don't get me wrong, they offer you all the ice you'd like but its either hot or watered down. The insulated cups would definitely solve this. Let's not forget the 20% gratuity added to everything purchased inside the pool area which is pretty generous as it concerns alcoholic beverages which are pretty pricey.
They have so many extra fees you end up paying doble of what you pay for booking.
If you want to relax this is not a go to. Is very loud and the pool it has a “party” vibe.
I booked a king standard and they gave us a double bed which was not what we paid for.
They pictures shown on the reservation are not accurate, we have to pay for the chair outside on the beach.
It was not as advertised. There is no beach front access. The pool is enclosed with very load music and they refused to turn it down so it was never relaxing. The view to the beach had jet skis in front of us and smelled like gasoline. The front desk checking out were unfriendly. The only parking option was valet and was $40 per night. Once you check out, valet was an hour wait. There were two restaurants, nothing was included (not even breakfast) which each please was about $20 each, and both restaurants were a bit dirty with no air conditioning. The only good thing was the staff, very friendly. Definitely an overpriced hotel.
We liked how the property was spread out. You didn't feel it was too crowded. The pool was beautiful and acess to the beach was easy. Food options were good and the staff were fantastic. We look forward to returning.
Resort is very nice. Unfortunately they charge for everything. Beach chairs and umbrellas, in room coffee and bottled water, parking and resort fees. Be prepared to pay for it all.
Excellent staff and property.
Parking not included and was not mentioned at the time of booking.
My surprise an extra $150 was charged for this service
This property is new so everything is clean and well taken care of. Johnathan at check in was fantastic and he helped us get an upgraded room for my husband's birthday. He also gave us two Margaritaville hats! Bella was our server at the pool and she was very friendly and attentive. The pool itself is huge and they had a DJ providing great music. We had lunch at Lah De Dah on the property and they were having BOGO entrees. The fish tacos were delicious.
My only complaint is that there is a lot of construction adjacent to the property so it was a noisy stay.
Rooms very clean and organized check in check out. Everything a bit pricey with the xtra resorts fees and parking. Everyone’s very cordial and respectful. The wait staff at the pool side bar was great especially when my husband was ordering, but I didn’t get that special attn. The weather was beautiful and they had everything we needed to have a wonderful time.
