I very rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this hotel was unacceptable from start to finish.
I called ahead to request an early check-in and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. However, when I arrived, the front desk staff was extremely rude and immediately said they “don’t do early check-ins.” It wasn’t until I mentioned the name of the person I had spoken with—which turned out to be the manager—that the tone changed and suddenly I was told to “give them 30 minutes.”
When I returned, they claimed they no longer had a room available. After waiting even longer, the room I was finally given was filthy. There were stains on the roof, walls, and doors, and for the price of this hotel, that alone was disappointing. It was only a one-night stay and they were hosting an event, so I tried to make the best of it.
But when we came back from our event later that night, we discovered roaches in the room. When we went back to the front desk, we were told there was “nothing they could do” other than offer a late check-out the next day. No room change, no real apology, no solution.
For a hotel charging these rates, basic cleanliness and decent customer service should not be too much to expect. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone.
