"This property is exactly as described and so sweet. It was clean and neat. Layout was easy to navigate and all the information we needed was in the binder. Host was also easy to contact and responded quickly. The location is absolutely beautiful! We were there in winter and did definitely need a 4x4 (or all-wheel) to get up the slippery slope but soooo worth it. You feel nestled in the woods; there were deer walking right past the window. It was a sweet, snowy hideaway. We watched movies in the living room with the fireplace going and played pool downstairs while watching the snow. We would love to go back and bring our kiddos next time. Also, highly recommend Grandmother's Kitchen for breakfast in Woodland Park. It's been good every time we've visited over the last 15 years."

"You will not regret staying at Bear Cub. This was our second stay and can’t wait for the next. You will want 4 wheel drive. Furniture is comfortable and kitchen is well stocked with gadgets for those that enjoy cooking. Hot tub is great as are the games in the basement. There are also puzzles and games in the living room closet. And the views are amazing!"

"Easy to find quiet property. Neighbors in the area were extremely friendly. House was spotless and everything was adequately stocked on arrival. Host was extremely responsive and addressed any questions almost immediately. This is advertised as kid/pet friendly and is exactly that. The design and layout were done in a way where we weren't constantly worried the kids/dog were going to get into something or knock something over. Made for a more relaxing stay. The decorated Christmas Tree was a nice touch. Snowed one of the days we were there and the sloped property in front is great for little kids to sled down. Would definitely stay here again. "
