The building is very outdated. AC was centrally controlled and did not work. Elevator very old. Staff are friendly and resourceful. Room is clean and very spacious.

Our host was friendly, she answered all of our questions. I did not like the fact that there are no signs to the property. We accessed for an alley, which made me think it was an unsafe place, then we realized the entrance was on the opposite side, a small plaza walking distance to a bigger plaza.

Disappointed in accommodations. The bed was so uncomfortable we left after the first night-scheduled 2 rooms for 3 nights. The rooms did not look like the advertised pictures. Also advertised down comforter, was a sheet and blanket as thin as a sheet. Toilet was very close to the sink as having to slide under it to sit. Wifi was extremely slow. A lot of noise from upstairs. The price did not match the quality of accommodations- and we had two separate rooms. The positives were the gentleman who checked us in was very nice and the location is great but unfortunately we lost a lot of money on this stay as we could not stay past the one night due to the amount of discomfort.

Excellent air conditioning, which was appreciated! Sometimes, upon re-entering the apartment, we noticed a musty sewage type odor, which dissipated when we opened the windows and aired it out. Might this be typical of old buildings? Otherwise, a great place to stay.

This property is nestled right behind Ponte Vecchio, but you would never know you are so close to one of the main areas of Florence. Staff were friendly, and the property came with free drinks which was awesome.

Staff was super friendly and helpful especially when our key would not work, he cut us a new one! The only thing about the property is the smell. I definitely think I was allergic to something there and we couldn’t use the air conditioning for that reason. Location was great and coffee and water supplied everyday was a huge bonus!

Absolute gem in perfect location
The location of this hotel is perfect and a 5-15 minute walk to everything we wanted to visit in Florence. Check in was easy and the clerk went above and beyond to orient us to the area by reviewing a map and pointing out restaurants and cafes that are affordable hidden gems in the area. Her customer services was exemplary and much appreciated. The rooms are charming, clean and well equipped with modern amenities. We loved very aspect of our stay in this lovely hotel.
