Stayed 3 nights, 2 were in a room where the AC was broken during near 40 degree weather, almost impossible to sleep during the night. Bathroom reeked of sewer gas, had to put a towel under the door to stop from filling the bedroom. TV was big, and room has small balcony with very good view of the cathedral. Hotel managed to get me a room change on the last night, AC was nice and strong, terrace was big. Loud in morning due to construction

Perfect location
The room was small, but fine for us. Due to building work outside we couldn't have the windows open, which made it feel a little claustrophobic especially as the a wasn't that efficient. The hotel was perfectly placed location wise, easy for the station and the main sites. The roof top bar was wonderful, stunning views and the food offered was simple but lovely

The hotel was very old. We didn't even take out our clothes to hang in the wardrobe. The bed was old but the bedding was clean.The hotel was in contraction. Overall didn't have a pleasant experience.

Found the hotel without difficulty, very near the station. All seemed very clean. When I checked into the room it was good, but the toilet seemed to keep flushing. I left for a walk and on return it was still flushing and there was water on the floor. I was told I couldn’t have another room as the hotel was full, but after some attempts by the porter to rectify the plumbing, he said it could not be fixed, and reception had found me another room, which seemed clean but much smaller, and the showèr curtain didn’t work properly. I stayed in that room, but the TV screen started flashing at 3am! Having turned the TV on and off the flashing stopped. I slept with earplugs in as the room was noisy from the street and air on. Breakfast was reasonable with quite a lot of choice, although no hot meal.

Hotel located approx 10 minute walk from main train station. Unfortunately difficult to locate due to scaffolding along front of building, so entrance not visible from street, some signage would be useful. All staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Room and bathroom very clean, cleaners were around daily with beds made up & fresh towels, & pillowcases, always seemed to be hoovering landings/ cleaning. Our room (411) had balcony with small table & chairs, lovely view of city, Duomo etc, though end of balcony/ front of building had scaffolfing & netting up, partially restricting view, but not really a problem for us. Nice breakfast buffet selection @ 10 euros. Roof top bar nice and relaxed place to visit in the evening for drinks ( basic food menu). Amazing views of sunset over the city. (open 16.00 - 23.00). Great, friendly staff there too. Maybe decir a little tired ( shabby chic vibe?). Perfect location for great bars & restaurants, 10 min walk to all main sights.

Spent one night here. Difficult to find because it was hidden by scaffolding. Impossible to stop and unload from car properly. Would not recommend going here if you drive a care. Is great if arriving by public transit. Close to downtown and to public transit. Many dining choices.

The location was good for seeing many sites in the historic part of the city. I had a hard time finding the hotel as the entire front of the building was completely hidden behind a covered scaffolding. It was a noisy location. The bathroom was tiny. The breakfast was very good, lots of selection. Spacious dining area But all in all, I would stay there again, and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel and its staff were great. The property itself is very nice with great rooftop views. The only issue (temporary) was the outside construction which was noisy and blocked the entrance to the lobby. Other than that, we would highly recommend.
