Awesome area as it is across the train station which is convenient especially if you have a lot of luggage. It is also at least 20-30mins walk to sights if yoh don’t mind walking. It is also almost at ZTL and helps a lot of making sure you don’t cross the area if you are driving. Highly recommended!

We loved that it was across the street from the train station which was great for arriving and leaving Florence. Taxis go on strike and you dont know until the day before or day of. Its the city so surrounding area is a bit dirty but as you walk around its not too bad. We were 15-30mins away walking distance from everything which was great. The hotel room was warm. The AC was not working. The breakfast was good here and the staff was extremely nice and helpful

I appreciated the flexibility at check-in. When we returned to check-in (still early 2pm) the room was ready and our luggage was delivered. We didn’t read that check-out was at 11 and wasn’t informed until day of by a phone call from reception. As a hotel employee in the states we stripped the bed and straightened up the room to make it as easy as possible for our housekeeper. I would strongly suggest making people pay an incidental hold for taxes and fees at check-in. We were followed out of the hotel with an inquiry about payment and our one key card as we departed. It was embarrassing and insulting. I’ve never had to physically check-out of a hotel unless it was an early departure. I’ve also worked in the industry for 20 years and travel often.

Had a great stay at c-hotels diplomat in Florence recently! The staff were helpful, and the hotel is surprisingly quiet despite being in a central neighbourhood and close to the train station. There is parking in a lot right next door, though it's a bit expensive this was expected given that it's in a major city. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only major drawback was there was a faint smell of sewage in the lobby that never really went away, but both myself and my partner noted it the whole time. The hotel is located in a very central area, easy to walk to everything.
