We always stay at the mountain when in the area....great hotel at a premier inn price ....has electric charging points for cars also ...not as i wish to buy an electric car now that the government are going to tax them and charge per mile...

We stayed for 2 nights, the room was okay and a good size. We were missing 2 pillows from the bed but the staff rectified that promptly. The door has a little glass bit in the middle but the wood surround was missing so the was an inch gap which I would fit my fingers through into the room. The herbal cleanliness wasn't up to par, bathroom could do with a good clean as there was pink residue on the skirting outside the shower and some inside the shower. The shower itself was lovely but poor design as no door so loads of water leaks out when you are showering. Wall paper peeling and just generally rundown. And for personal preference the bed was too soft. Blinds on the windows also broken so couldn't open them as they were jammed shut. In the bathroom there was also nowhere to put anything no shelving or unit, there was what looked like where a shelf used to be which had clearly broken off the wall as plaster and paint missing but hasn't been repaired or replaced.

staff were very good and friendly, the bar and restaurant were clean and comfortable food was basic but nice. the room door was very ill fitting looked like someone had attempted to break in, a gap of approx 5ml. on the side, underneath the door was a large gap, the bathroom was dingy and tired, mould on the ceiling and silicone pulled off, and in disrepair. behind the toilet was very dirty. all in all the room needed attention .

Not the best but ok.
Shower tray overflowed onto the floor. Mattress was lop sided. Put into a room that was next to the generator for a bouncy castle that wasnt turned of untill 11.30pm party on untill 12pm. Food was good.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I would say the rooms are reasonably basic, but they have everything that you need for a short stay. If you choose a triple room this will be upstairs and this means you have velux windows without a view. I’d say it’s more of a base to explore the area.

Advertised as sleeping five, three would have been more like it. Maintenance issues including cracked window, bathroom door didn’t close and plug didn’t work in the bathroom sink. The room was only used by us as a base for visiting family so we used their facilities. Such a shame, it could be a good little room if a bit of thought and attention to detail was used.

Could do with modernisation
The room was a good size but a very strange layout with no chair to use at the desk, a very small and uncomfortable bed and a very small window. Breakfast was a bit haphazard. The whole feel was quite dated. On the plus side the room was clean and there were excellent EV charging facilities
