Basic but clean ammenities. Would’ve love a toaster and a bit of cutlery for late night snacks but other than that. Really great staff , quiet rooms, had a takeaway meal from the restaurant ordered kangaroo and it was absolutely cooked to perfection. Overall very happy

Easy access to hiking trails, a good variety of accommodation options and great breakfast buffet and dinner choices in the bistro. We travelled without our older kids this time, but perfect for families. Pool would be great for summer months too!

We had a fabulous stay glamming at Wilpena Pound. Staff were very friendly and helpful right from the minute we arrived, including providing hints and tips of places to visit and what to do over our stay. It was wonderful to wake up surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Flinders Ranges.

Beautiful area and lovely walks. Meals were good and service excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful and the tour of the gorges was very enjoyable. Unfortunately the room was very basic and not as clean as expected and the pillows were uncomfortable.

I have stayed there 2 times before the room was fined dirty cups in the cupboard there were seeds from a lemon or orange on the bench so hadn't been cleaned very well the shower curtains need replacing bed was comfortable the TV didnt work at all and no internet connection available

Wilpena Pound Resort is legendary for a reason. It's in an amazing location, with a wealth of different accommodation options. We stayed in the 'safari' tents, which exceeded my expectations. As it was peak summer, with temperatures reaching 40 degrees, it was a huge relief to come back to an air-conditioned room, with access to a high quality bathroom.

Unclean and overpriced room in a unique location
Room is in rather poor condition, one bedside lamp flicks non-stop and cannot be used. No toaster available. Fridge is of inadequate size, too small. Stayed for two nights, turned out to be quite overpriced, probably because it is very remote and not much else is available. Staff were very helpful, although they seem a little stressed and tired, because the resort is obviously understaffed. The Pound is a wonderful destination, though.
