The hills around Fiesole have always been admired for their beauty, since the time of the Etruscans. Many artists have come to these areas to admire the natural elegance of the Tuscan countryside, expertly designed with olive trees, cypresses and areas left in the woods. These include the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright and Le Corbusier. The view sweeps over the beautiful hill of Fiesole, up to Florence. In Fiesole we recommend not to miss a visit to the Etruscan Museum and the wonderful Roman Amphitheater, where high-quality dance, theater and music performances take place in the summer. The Primo Conti Foundation Museum is another jewel not to be missed. A collection of beautiful works by the famous artist, preserved in his villa.
The imposing Church of San Romolo is a fine example of Romanesque architecture. The nearby climb of San Francesco leads to a belvedere near the monastery of the same name, with a view of the plain of Florence.

In Fiesole you can enjoy excellent cakes and other delicacies in the excellent Alcedo pastry shop, open since the 1940s.

For walkers we recommend a descent into the old via fiesolana, which from Piazza Mino leads to the base of the hill, passing through glimpses of views of Florence and gates that allow you to glimpse ancient mansions of the Medici family.

SETTIGNANO
The nearby Settignano, where Michelangelo lived in his childhood, is another little gem to discover. A village of few houses and many villas scattered in the countryside perfectly preserved since Renaissance times.
In Settignano we highly recommend the "Enoteca la Sosta del Rossellino" one of the best restaurants in Florence. Do not miss the Gnocchi al Castelmagno or the Fassone fillet with caponata.

GOLF
In just half an hour by car you can reach beautiful golf courses near Barberino in Mugello.

TENNIS
Just 5 minutes by car you can reach the tennis courts and the USD Caldine sports center.

Restaurant
about 1.5 km from the villa is the Dino restaurant, well known since the 1960s. Its winning formula: a pleasant fresh terrace shaded by trees, the simple cuisine of the Tuscan peasant tradition, with homemade pasta and excellent quality grilled meats.

Our street is a dirt road, about 900 meters long, that start from the main paved street which will bring you toward Florence. It is easy to drive by car and on foot, but we recommend that you use your car for your travels to other destinations.

Fiesole
in a few minutes by car you can reach Fiesole, a pleasant village in one of the most beautiful hills in Tuscany. In Fiesole you can visit the archaeological park of the Etruscan and Roman era.
In the Roman arena dance and music performances take place in the summer.

CAR
To reach the villa we recommend using the car. To access the villa from the main road you need to travel about 900 meters of unpaved road, but in good condition. A normal car can easily travel this route.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned villa, which features a fireplace and a private pool. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a desk and a microwave.
Enjoy recreation amenities such as an outdoor pool or take in the view from a garden.
Guests will find features like internet access and onsite parking.

Would not recommend
The villa is absolutely beautiful on the outside, but we would not recommend it for the following reasons. First, I was told before arrival that my reservation had been cancelled. This was sent to me one day prior to check-in and I have no idea why. Being in Italy already that came as a shocker. Then, the check in process is difficult because they have to meet you. Given flight schedules from the USA, this can difficult to pinpoint. The property was extremely dirty. I even showed the property manager the shorts, trash and socks found under one cushion. The separate quarters shown had a moldy smell and a few bugs to great us upon arrival. We could not stay in the separate unit and had to move to the main house. There was no instruction book to be found. It had apparently gone missing from a previous renter. On checkout, I notified Jeffer that on one of the last days of my stay, someone had come in and taken some money from my backpack. He said David would call me, but never did. To be fair, I shouldn't have left money around, but being so remote on the hillside, I did feel it would be safe. We also found that the pictures online did not match the reality. I have stayed at hundreds of properties over the years, and this is the 1st time I ever have written a bad review. With some simple care this could be a phenomenal property.

bellissimo villa
it was off the beaten path, and just perfect. The pool and view were magnificent, and the little soccer pitch was fun too. Only hiccup was we could not easily operate the pocket doors from the formal dining room to the other rooms (very heavy/sticky). Would stay here again

Spectacular Villa with a view
The property was breathtaking, beautifully manicured with flowers blooming and a view into the valley overlooking olive and cherry orchards. The pizza oven was an incredible treat for those days we stayed in. The pictures of the actual interior of the villa did not do it justice. It was clean well maintained and very spacious. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The Villa had a large beautiful kitchen well stocked with cookware and dining ware. My kids made some great meals there. I would highly recommend this Space. It’s also 10 mins from town and a grocery store and 20 mins to Florence and the train station. If you’re coming with family and having to rent rooms in Florence and fighting all the traffic and this place is the far better alternative.

August 10 days in Tuscany
What a magnificent villa. The pool / vista of Florence fabulous. The space / comfort of the bedrooms/ bathrooms / kitchen excellent. We were a two families of 4, with teenagers and 11 year olds. The space at the veranda overlooking the view was lovely in the evenings to read/play games. David was great to deal with, and Alice was great too at the meeting and handover. Totally perfect!

Authentic Tuscan paradise in country side 30 minutes from downtown Florence
We were two families (9 in total) that stayed a week in the villa. The property and views are breath taking which was the major draw for us. It was very private overlooking vineyards and olive groves. The house is an authentic Tuscan villa and provided us with lots of space. The kids enjoyed the pool, the outdoor spaces and the many rooms to play in. The villa has lots of out door lounging and sitting areas to enjoy the pool, sun bathing and meals and we enjoyed using the outdoor pizza oven. The house is beautiful but old. The fridge and oven were not working well and I would suggest they should be replaced for future guests but our host David was very responsive to any issues we had which was much appreciated. The location was not only beautiful but very convenient for easy day trips to Florence and visiting lovely medieval Italian cities. There is no air conditioning but we were able to leave the windows open at night without having issues with bugs/mosquitos (We stayed in August).

Secluded hillside villa
We were two families of 4 with kids ages 8, 9, 11, and 13. This villa was great! The pool (and the view from the pool) were just perfect and there is lots to do in the area if you really want to soak up Tuscan culture. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Property, But Lacking in Hospitality
The villa itself is undeniably beautiful, with authentic Tuscan charm, lovely furnishings, and plenty of space for a large group to gather. The property and its surroundings are stunning, and the indoor spaces are well-appointed, as you would expect from a luxury property at this price point. With a few improvements, this villa could easily go from a 3 to a 5-star experience. However, the overall experience was not what we anticipated. Pros: • The villa is spacious and has a classic Tuscan feel, with ample areas for relaxing and socializing. • The kitchen was wonderful and felt truly authentic, offering a taste of the region’s charm. • The property has the potential to be a standout with just a few tweaks. Cons: Unfortunately, the hospitality fell short of the standard you would expect from a luxury villa rental. It often felt more like staying in a friend's villa—where you can’t ask too much—than in a high-end property where guest experience is prioritized. The host, David, was prompt in responding, but the overall attitude from the property’s management was less than accommodating and impacted our stay. Examples of Issues: • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Upon arrival, the pool had dirt stains and insect buildup. Despite reporting this, the response was dismissive, and it took some effort to have it addressed. Additionally, some poolside furniture was broken, which added to the sense that the property wasn’t fully maintained. • Internet Coverage: Many bedrooms lacked internet

Amazing vacation
We loved our stay, and the house and sceanary were fantastic. Only minus was that there was no AC, and the road to the house was in a very poor condition.

Fantastisch huis, prachtige plek
