Really lovely stay at mollies with the diner facilities on site. Good was lovely but service was very slow. The room was clean and tidy however there was damage and operating the hair straighteners/dryer and air con unit could have had better instructions. Overall we would stay again if passing and enjoyed our time here. Was worth the money but is in the middle of no where.

Great place to stay
Greeted by friendly and helpful staff with a nice modern place to stay. The reception and lounge area with a 24hr bar is a great idea and had a great atmosphere along with the friendly staff it was a great experience. Up the stairs to our room it was modern clean and comfortable with a decent amount of space for a short stay. We booked a table at the diner for breakfast and the food was great (not included in price) the staff everywhere were friendly and happy to help the food was fresh and had lots of locally sourced produce. The only negative points I have to make were the stairs were very dark and paired with a 24hr bar may cause a tumble ! And secondly there were tea bags and coffee bags in our room but no kettle. None of this detracted from our stay and we would choose this over any of its competitors

Mollies Motel is so unique and really worth staying at. The motel is really modern, clean and it’s an excellent concept. The staff were great and very friendly. We enjoyed cocktails at the 24 hour bar. The hairdryer and straighteners in the room were great and really thoughtful and the bedding was really comfy we both had a great nights sleep.

The motel was okay, about right for the price I’d say. Had multiple issues with our tv the entire time we were there, but staff were friendly and it was clean. The huge downside is the diner. We were so excited to go and have food there but had the most severe food poisoning we have ever had in the middle of the night. Even now we are still unwell almost 2 days later. Brought the issue to attention at reception when we had to check out at 7 am because we were that ill it cut our entire trip short and sent an email at 5 am the morning of the food poisoning - I’ve not even had an email back to apologise and acknowledge my email which suggests they don’t understand the gravity of this situation. This trip was a belated birthday celebration, our first night away alone since having a baby (thank god we didn’t bring him), completely ruined. I’ll be expecting a full refund of the food and stay seeing as it was the motel’s own diner that caused this, and would never return again

Amazing stay, disappointing diner
Could not fault the hotel itself, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and were all so friendly. The rooms are lovely, great powerful shower so overall really good value for money. Knocked one star off due to both experiences in the diner for breakfast. We went for breakfast on our first morning, diner was quiet but food took a little while to arrive (service was lovely still - can’t fault that!) when it did arrive my bacon looked like pork scratchings it was so overdone (maybe to some taste but not mine) the waitress acknowledged this as she gave it to me but took it back instantly to be replaced. Meanwhile my partners eggs benedict was freezing cold and the eggs hard, I politely brought this to the waitresses attention and this was quickly rectified - second lot of food much nicer. Next morning decided to go in for just a coffee as was a bit apprehensive about trying the food again, waited a short while to be seen to a table and then forgotten about. We waited 20 or so minutes for someone to come and take our order, watching people seated after us be seen to, so decided to leave without ordering anything and grab a coffee elsewhere - which is a shame as the coffee was lovely.
