Wonderful
Very clean everywhere, wonderful staff who are genuinely happy to see you and help you. Gorgeous grounds and well kept interior. Very shocked this is not a 4 star!

Lovely stay at The Falmouth Hotel
Wonderful to stay at and to support such a grand hotel on the seafront which such great access to Falmouth. The staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was really comfortable, we had a lovely nights sleep, the lounge bar was spacious, with a beautiful view of the sea. The swimming pool, sauna and gym were also good. Thank you for taking care of us. Hope to visit again.

The Falmouth is a magnificent hotel but at the moment it’s a little tired and going through a transition and needs a lot of effort put into it. I hope the new owners will create something special like their sister hotels but there is a little way to go yet.

Fantastic reception service including a courtesy upgrade - lovely. Hotel has been recently bought by another hotel and the signs are promising. Breakfast service wasn't too organised but the the staff were quick to resolve things and also provide great customer service in recognition of things.

Last Minute Falmouth Hotel Stay
We booked our stay last minute and this was our first stay at this hotel, having stayed at others in the town. Our welcome was very friendly, all staff during our stay were great. The hotel was sold a few months ago and a refurbishment has started. The scaffolding came down last week after a repaint and it looks like work is slowly starting inside as well. It currently is very tired with a refurb well overdue. Hopefully it will be sympathetically restored instead of ripped apart. The original features are really lovely. We used the pool once. As its the school holidays we didnt stay in long as it was full of kids. Having a couple of hours a day for just adults would be lovely. Breakfast was yummy, didn't eat in the restaurant on the evening. Falmouth has loads of restaurants. We had room 306 with a sea view. Dated but clean. As I've said before its very tired decor wise, but cleaning staff do a great job and the bed was really comfortable. Carpark is very small, but managed to find on street parking. Also newly fitted electric charges. Oh and the hotel is currently dog friendly. Bear that in mind if you aren't a fan. We would stay here again. But would wait until after the refurbishment. You can't fault the location, its going to be stunning when complete.

Disappointing second visit to hotel. Stains on carpet and sofa in room, NOT a place if you don't like dogs..booked a table for dinner in restaurant and shown to table but dogs at adjoining tables. Dogs allowed everywhere and as a result whole place felt unclean. Obviously only rated 4 stars due to range of facilities available and not quality of stay. Shame it's not as good as on our first stay

We booked the Falmouth Hotel for our honeymoon the executive room we found it very disappointing as extremely dated and frayed carpet well beyond its date. The leisure facilities were clean but not alot all the facilities working. The staff we found not over friendly. I don't think we got what we paid for.
