We stayed in the hotel 5 days. The room was very warm even then the weather outside was not so good. We could not open the window properly as it was blocked for "security reason", but as an adults, we can take care of ourself. It was really difficult to have a good night sleep because of that. One day when returned back to our room in the evening, we discovered the beds had not been made up, but very helpful man at the reception desk sorted it up quickly. He was always polite and very helpful. Sorry I don't remember his name(tall, slim, with dark hair). Breakfast and bar staff also polite and efficient! The hotel looks beautiful inside and outside after renovation. After all we had very enjoyable stay (please do allow the window to open).

Our room was very clean. We didn’t have a beach view however we enjoyed the stay albeit the hotel is undergoing renovation. Much of its features remain. I also believe that the show was absolutely first class plenty of hot water plenty of green towels.

The hotel & location was lovely as a wheelchair user I couldn't get in without assistance & my partner burn't her ass on the towel rail which had no thermostat but otherwise a great stay.

The inland rooms we had had a distant view of the boats. The rooms were clean, however they had a damp smell to the bathrooms. The hotel has a high class feel to it and is decorated well. The staff are very friendly and keen to help, with a lovely touch of phoning the room to check all was ok. After we settled in. Breakfast was very well serviced with a good variety of foods in the buffet. They were super helpful with my allergy requirements for coeliac disease, bringing out bread on request and providing a separate toaster. I would stay here again.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the beach and an easy walk into town. The lounge area and dining rooms are pleasant. Dinner and breakfast were good although rather pricey. Service for drinks in the lounge wasn’t great but dinner was better. The biggest issue is that it is an old property that hasn’t been updated in a long time. Bathroom was pretty old with split flooring and old bath included. The spa area was dirty, old and not fit for purpose with incredibly noisy boiler humming, areas zoned off and not a staff member to be seen. Lockers didn’t work and we were given a towel each but no robe or slippers for the grubby floor. Couldn’t find a water station either. Definitely not an area for relaxing. We had a quick swim and got out.

A lovely place to stay!

A lovely place to stay. Close to the beach, town and train station. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The dining facilities were very nice and the staff was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

The Fal is so comfy ....

The hotel position is great for the seafront & walking into town/beaches/coastal path. Good garden outlook & furniture. Lounges are super comfy and breakfasts and snacks are very good. The staff have been very well trained. The staff are very friendly & super efficient. Downsides? Think of an aging film actress ... still beautiful, but showing her age around the edges. Bedrooms (we were top floor) are basic by modern standards and could do with a picture or two to brighten them up. Good bed & shower, so accept this as a minor issue. Will stay for our next visit to Falmouth.

The hotel as nice and peaceful and the staff were very pleasant. The only downside was that there was only 1 lift which made it a little more difficult to get to out room but no real problem.
