Beautiful Location.
Great location between the ponds & ocean. Great deck & family rooms to entertain in. Beautiful Kitchen. Smaller EIK area but definitely doable.. a few negatives do exist though. There's a row boat in the photos down by the pond on this property. I just assumed , as with other beech properties, we would be able to use it & was very much looking forward to that. The boat has a hole in it making it unusable,, The furnishings are from 60's 70's but we still love the interior of the home. It was spacious, airy, & comfortable. The home defiantly needs some interior upkeep.. One bathroom had paint chipping off the shower ceiling into the shower...our M.bath had the toilet the paper roll constantly falling out of the wall & not secure.. & the house apparently did not have guests there previously so when we asked if we could get in earlier then 4pm,(we were there for a family funeral), we were not granted permission... But our Rep Vanessa was one of the best reps we have ever dealt with. She was quick to respond, helpful & clear with instructions. A pleasure to work with. This place does have high fees compared to most & they would not budge on waiving or reducing them.. Maybe it wasn't her call to let us in early or reduce those fees....Overall this is place has much to offer for a Cape vacation. I definitely recommend it...

Needs some TLC
The location of the home is great. Only a short distance to beach and downtown. Beautiful view from rooftop and great neighborhood to walk. Description does not tell you that there is a space above the garage (connected to the house, not a separate garage), where someone is living while you are staying there. Check in instructions were sent the day before and was told then, and they explained it was the person that helped with the landscaping. What landscaping? lol.. The exterior of the home needs a little attention. The landscaping is way overgrown, weeds are overtaking the bushes and pathways to the house. The kitchen has been remodeled and in good shape. Furniture in living spaces are dated and soiled. We found a pair of men’s pj’s behind bed in master bedroom. Cleaning crew should have found those items if they cleaned properly before we arrived. There were children’s gel stickers and finger prints on the sliding door and windows. Also, children’s toys were lying around. Toilet paper holder in master bath was barely hanging on wall. Spider webs throughout house. While staying there, a man came to house asking to come in to get trash from garage. Never notified of this. Could be a very nice place to stay but needs some attention to detail, inside and outside, CLEANING DETAIL.

Great location. House dated and very hot!
Location was great and view from deck beautiful but house was ridiculously dated, beds uncomfortable and while we knew there was no AC the tiny fans provided were useless

Nice, but could be better
The house location is great with excellent deck views. However the house needs bedroom renovations such as curtains, blinds, new mattresses and bedding etc. Our biggest let down was being told the House was A/C throughout with window units but there was only one in one bedroom. During a hot summer week with little children, this was an issue for us. Otherwise the house is nice and again location is great.

Location great! Situation not!
Good news first- the location was great. Walking distance to the beach and only a.short drive into Falmouth. Plenty of space for 6 people and our dogs. Now for the bad- There was an overall sense that the house was in a haphazard state. Upon pulling into the driveway, the upstairs tenant was sitting in the driveway in his truck staring at us. There is space for 3 cars in the driveway and guess what? The tenant gets first priority. So if you, like us have 3 couples meeting up it's a game of musical cars. The lawn was really long and it was chopped down on our second day. Guess what? No welcome mat to wipe our feet. Now for the inside of the house. 1) no air conditioning or ceiling fans. August at the beach was uncomfortably hot in the house. 2) Broken glass on the deck 3) plants on the porch were dead. Not like they needed water, they were black. 4) patio furniture was unkempt and slimy. What was more troubling was the fact that although the window crank to the master bedroom was broken and swung open during a downpour, the tenant asked if we had water come into the house. He was aware that it was not closing properly and didn't do anything to fix it. There were lightbulbs removed from the chandelier and never replaced. The tenant entrance to his unit is outside the kitchen. He looked into the kitchen window on Saturday morning and started asking us about our stay and if we were participating in the road race. It was not welcomed. Especially since he never said a word to us in the common area of the driveway when we arrived. When I approached vacasa.com with my many levels of discomfort I was told that I should have called during the 48 hours that we were there. Since I didn't call and complain about the creepy man outside our window I was only offered a 15% discount on a future stay. The argument on the part of vacasa.com was that I didn't call sooner. Vacasa.com offers 10% off anyway once you book with them so I rejected the additional 5% offer. We're all in our 30's. We are all professional adults so I let the company know that we didn't like the idea of being overseen. We were assured we would not be approached by the tenant. Their word is only worth what is convenient for them. I would not recommend this place.

not worth the money! Beware...
If you like hanging out in a humidity filled house with windows that don't open, an old musty smell permeating everything in the house, finding prescription medicine bottles with medicine in them under your child's bed, finding dirty men's underwear under your child's bed, finding half smoked cigars in the glass cabinet, and almost having a shower door fall in on you, then this place is the house to stay in! The only reason we are even giving this property two stars is because the kitchen is nice, and the back deck is nice. Also, the location is fantastic. Other than those three things, the house was a pretty terrible experience. And the things wrong with this rental far outweigh those positives. It is by no means worth the money the owners/rental agency charges. The description of the house (and list of amenities) is completely misleading. My family has a lengthy list of things that we experienced which just were not ok. First and foremost, is that the description of the house claims partial AC. I am not sure in what world "partial AC" means one small air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms (NOT the master suite), but apparently for this house that is what it means. The master suite upstairs is extremely uncomfortable, and also has no air conditioning and the windows don't open. In fact half of the windows in the house don't open. So in a house with no AC, it is always hot and humid. There are multiple fans throughout the house, but they are all old and one of them broke while we were there. Also, the description of the house makes it sound like the area/path to the pond is user-friendly. There is no easy way to access the pond from the path, and the one chair they have out in the back sitting near the pond is broken (my husband almost fell out of it when he tried sitting down). The weeds are so bad that even if you wanted to try to access the pond (which we did try), the weeds make it difficult. The other thing I will mention in this review from the very long list of things wrong with the house is the many dangerous parts. We have two small children – the youngest being 2 1/2. He found men's dirty underwear and a prescription medicine bottle with medicine in it under his bed. What?! One of the bathrooms downstairs has a very old door on it which almost fell on me while showering. One of the stairs is split and my husband actually hurt his foot on it because of the split in the wood. The list goes on. Awful.
