Lost Boys’ Treehouse Hideout

Get ready to create a memorable experience while staying at the Lost Boys' Treehouse Hideout. This treehouse is anything but ordinary. It's a place where you are free to hideout like one of Peter Pan's lost boys and feel like a kid again...no matter your age! You’ll be able to kick back, relax while creating wonderful memories while sharing stories around the fire-pit and roasting marshmallows with your family or friends.

By the way, the sunsets are absolutely spectacular from the deck! Your adventure is waiting!

The treehouse has two levels. On the main level there is a dining area, a kitchenette, bathroom, and the main living area. There is a small table for four in the dining area.

The main living area has a full size faux leather futon. It folds down to sleep two people (smaller people that is). You also have a 50 inch HD ROKU TV with a DVD player. We don't have WiFi at this time, which is why we have provided a DVD player along with a few family friendly movies such as "Peter Pan." The queen bed is also located in the main living area.

The dining area has a small table for four. There is extra seating in the main living area as well as outside on the deck.

The kitchenette is stocked with basic cooking supplies, a full size refrigerator, 5 gallon water dispenser, farm style sink, keurig coffee maker (makes a full pot or single cup), a microwave, double hot plate for cooking inside, plates, bowls, cups, coffee mugs, wine glasses, silverware, knife block, cutting board, and grilling utensils.

The treehouse has a full bathroom with clean towels and washcloths provided. The shower has a luxurious rainfall shower head. We also provide makeup wipes for your convenience.

Upstairs we have the two twin beds and some children's books. There are three huge windows upstairs that overlook the canopy of the trees. In the fall and winter you can even catch a glimpse of Eufaula Lake.

Guests are given a door code upon booking and are free to come & go as they please.

There are written instructions on how to get to and from the treehouse located in our welcome book. We have also listed local restaurants, shops, and attractions.

We are available should our guests have any questions or problems.

Because of its remoteness, arrangements to meet guests in town and escort them out can be made, however, if you are up for an adventure, a map link can be sent to you on the morning of your arrival to help you navigate your own way there.
We are available, but like to give our guests their space.

Heavily wooded! The treehouse is located approximately 8 miles west of town, down some dirt roads. Because of its remoteness, the owners meet their guests in town and escort them out.

Because of its remoteness, arrangements to meet guests in town and escort them out can be made, however, if you are up for adventure, a map link can be sent to you on the morning of your arrival to help you navigate your own way there.

There is a circle drive making it easier to get in and out.

Please be advised that the last portion of the dirt road leading to the treehouse is a bit bumpy, so hang on tight and take it slowly.

The treehouse is located approximately 8 miles from Eufaula. However, it may feel further away because you will end up traveling down winding dirt roads with very few houses in the area. The driveway leading up to the circle driveway is a bit rough, so hang on to your hats and be prepared for a bumpy adventure.

Great rustic getaway
Wife and I stayed here for two nights. It was a great rustic getaway. Remote location in the middle of the woods, so expect to drive on a gravel road and then a very short stint on dirt. For as remote as it seems, the cell service was still good (AT&T), and I was able to hotspot and stream on the TV (there was no wifi). Just realize that you are booking a literal treehouse, so expect some creaky floors, etc. Kitchen is small but has the essentials. Water pressure was a little low, but the water runs and gets hot. We stayed during cold fall weather, so we had the provided electric heater running constantly, but it was able to keep the space warm enough for us. The deck is great and we saw some deer and rabbit visitors, even spotted a bald eagle fly over. Place was adequately clean, especially considering it's location. The ladder leading to the upstairs area is steep and could use some better railing, but its a cute little room up there with 2 twin beds. Overall very impressed with this place.

Great experience for kids
We just needed a place to park it for the night on the way home from a cross-country roadtrip and let our kids choose between a fancy hotel in OKC or a cabin in the woods. They chose the cabin and we all loved it! The cabin was clean, had plenty of linens and we enjoyed watching old Peter Pan DVDs in lieu of WiFi. The last section of road leading up to the cabin is definitely very washed out and gave my 4Runner a run for its money on brand new tires so while a previous review said 4WD is required, I would disagree with that, but the washed out sections could use some attention!
