we vacation in Estes yearly, and this was our first time at the Riversong Inn. We loved how clean it was, and the room was extremely comfortable and quiet. Our room had a gorgeous view of wildlife roaming in the mornings and a beautiful sunset in the evening. We also loved the private deck. Hospitality was fantastic, making sure we were greeted at arrival with a brief tour. Breakfast both days were delicious with a variety at the buffet. Amenities were plentiful with a lot to do at the inn, and we loved that the location was only a few minutes from downtown while still feeling a little more quiet and romantic. We’re looking forward to staying here again someday!

Everything was super nice. Great room, great service. Wish we had more time to do more, but did enjoy the 7 benches hike in the morning. Appreciate the communication but would have liked fewer messages before arrival.

We enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to relax, take nice walks on the property, sit and read, this is your place. It absolutely has a B&B feel. It’s out of the way, but very close to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. So…if you’re going to the national park, you’ll be at the entrance in 5-10 minutes, so very convenient. The breakfast buffet was good. The view from our room was incredible…looking directly at the Rocky Mountains. Overall, we’re glad we stayed.

The room was very "hygge" ! Nice big comfy downy bed, new flat screen TV, big whirlpool tub, new shower, and a great big reading area with lots of filled bookcases. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The property is private and very picturesque. Also close to RMNP and Estes Park.

Such a refreshing treat from the usual hotels we stay in. Cottage was cute and clean with extra touches. Breakfast was an excellent 7 course meal in the main house overlooking the woods. 26 acres of woods to explore. Wish we would have had more time to take it all in.

Could improve (and probably will in due course): - fitted aircon - drinking glasses in room (not just wine glasses) - slightly better facilities for making in room tea/coffee - daily replenish tea bags and coffee filters But this is just not picking - breakfast to die for - very comfortable beds....

We had a magical experience at Riversong from the dirt road along the stream as we meandered our way to the property. Our room was beautiful with a king-sized bed, a balcony, a large two-person tub, a library, and an excellent breakfast. Fantastic night celebrating my bride's birthday.

A Slice of Secluded Paradise

To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, my husband and I were looking for a spot that was both reasonably close to home (our summers are too busy for a long trip) but would feel a million miles away from home. We found the ideal escape at Riversong Inn and Retreat for our two night stay (7/6-7/8) The innkeeper, Janine, and Lindsey (not sure of her title) were delightful, helpful, and very accommodating for my food allergies. We also visited with Danny (name?), the handyman, as he was building one of the two new yurts. His kind and gentle heart echoes the land he works on. From the moment we checked in, we felt the tension in our shoulders relax. The sauna and a soak in the hot tub took care of whatever remained. We walked the labyrinth, played a round of chess, and strolled along the river. In the morning, we hiked the Seven Benches trails in glorious solitude. We watched the deer graze in front of the inn, turkey hens and babies wander past the hot tub, and birds of all types fly about. From the deck of the Cowboy's Delight, which really is a delightful room to stay in, we watched the stars and sipped our wine. We met and visited with other guests at breakfast, but truly felt secluded the vast majority of time we were there. It was the perfect destination to renew our souls, our spirits, and our love, so we've already begun discussing a return trip. Our gratitude to the entire staff at Riversong for sharing your slice of secluded paradise.
