Close to the National Park and out of the busy Estes Park traffic, atleast when I went. Stayed only one night but enjoyed it just the same. Shower had hot water and room was clean.

The inside was okay, good for the price. It was average in just about everything. The outside is very run down looking, and we got a bit nervous about how the inside would look when we pulled up. Overall, decent. Would stay again if needed, but would likely opt for something a bit nicer. We only stayed one night after staying somewhere else in Estes the rest of the week. The prices were the same but the other place was much more enjoyable. You can do better for the price, but I’m sure you can do worse.

Great location - super close to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and easy to get in to downtown Estes Park (construction is still going on). Very clean room and bathroom. The AC was obnoxiously loud like lots of paper crunching constantly but luckily it was cold enough at night so we didn’t need it on too much. Overall we would stay again!

Convenience to RMNP is top feature, room was clean and staff was nice. This is a 2 star motel built 60 years ago that operator is doing all they can with. It was fine and everything worked and bed was comfortable. Property sits between east/west roadway so you will hear it. Very convenient to park main entrance.

My family had a very nice stay in this property. It was practically at the front door of the Rocky Mountain National Park. The property might be dated but everything works, the rooms were very quiet and the beds were comfortable. Close proximity to dining options and 2 gas stations and a little over a mile from downtown Estes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We now know we’re booking here again for our next Rockies trip. We stayed 3 nights. Get the rooms with a balcony if you can, the views are priceless, have your morning coffee looking at the mountains and elk and moose grazing in the meadow, time slows down…vacation mode.

Over-priced and disappointing
We were disappointed in our recent stay at the Alpine Trail Ridge Inn. Although they market the location as renovated, the rooms were old and worn. Furniture was broken, air conditioners didn’t work or were so noisy we couldn’t sleep. The refrigerator leaked, as did the kitchen when it rained outside. Based on the reviews and the cost for our stay we expected something much better. We will not return.

I was a little nervous when I showed up, but the Alpine Trail Ridge Inn is a little gem in the heart of Estes Park. The room was clean (crisp, fresh white sheets towels) and well appointed (cute throw pillow on the bed!) and it was really easy to park. The staff is friendly and nice. Check in/out is super easy. I didn't use the amenities so I can't speak to those. It's a drive to downtown or a very easy bike ride. There are restaurants/bars in walking distance. I highly recommend the Alpine Trail Ridge Inn.
