Villa Tuscano. Boutique Winery, Miniature horses!

Villa Tuscano is located on our 5 acre Cheval Winery property. The villa is directly above our tasting room which is open to the public Friday 4:00-7:00 Sat - Sun, 2-7pm. Villa overlooks our 5 acre vineyard. Feels like you are in Italy!

The Villa has a private gated entrance and tons of free parking. You can join in the fun at the winery or sit and relax in peace in your own space. You can visit with Francisco, the Vineyard manager, who is on property.

House Rules:
***Violation of these house rules can result in additional fees + fines and/or eviction without refund***
**No Loud Noise or Music Before 8AM or Past 9:30 PM - Quiet Hours Mandatory
**No parties, events allowed. Baby, bridal showers or dinner guests must be pre-approved by host prior to your check in.
**No smoking inside the Villa.
**No Extra/Overnight Guests ($100 per extra guest per night)
**We do allow dogs for check in and in the tasting room on a leash when open. ( NO CATS allowed.)
**No Disturbing Neighbors
**Parking Included:
**Must provide hosts with updates on any broken items during their stay
**For the security of our guests and the safety of our property, we have security cameras located outside on property.
**Wine Maker is on property at all times.

The Villa overlooks the vineyard in this countryside setting while being 5 minutes to shopping, 20 minutes from San Diego Safari Park, Legoland.

During your stay you'll feel as if the vineyard is your own. Note - we do have another guest studio on property.

Waking up to the fog moving over the mountains and the sun rays shining through well enjoying a nice cup of warm Nespresso coffee on the deck of the Villa. Bravo!

Beautiful little getaway.
We arrived after the tasting room opened so we were able to get a tasting when we arrived. We particularly liked the server who was able to greet us and answer basic questions about the place. The space was super clean and comfortable. The bed was really soft. We have two young kids so we spend a lot of time on the floors so it was nice that the floors were well kept. There was both plenty of privacy and a spectacular view. We ordered food to the room from Instacart and included some carrots for the horses

A hidden gem!
We booked this property to celebrate our daughter’s 21st birthday, and it exceeded our expectations! From the tasting room to the miniature ponies, to the beautiful vineyard and villa, the property was everything advertised and more. We definitely hope to return. Thanks, Loree!

The property looks amazing! Walking in looks perfect and well kept. Walking in there is a staircase which was dark no light but couldn’t get to and locked. Same with the closet in the small bedroom. The bathroom had used towels and empty soap.

Nice digs, large space and pleasing decor.
We came south from LA for a wedding in San Marcos. Proximity to the wedding venue was ideal and the impressively large and accommodating space provided a very comfortable and convenient stay. Loree provided all the information needed for our arrival and afforded us privacy and courtesy during our brief stay.

Beautiful property itself
The property itself was absolutely gorgeous. So quiet where it really felt like it was going to be the getaway we needed. We entered the villa and were immediately hit with the overwhelming smell of dirty dog. Literally nothing worse than that smell, we are pet owners so we are pretty tolerant to it, but this was really bad. Then putting away our food and belongings there was molded coffee in the coffee pot that clearly had been sitting some time for it to mold over. Super big bummer. Dirty floors so had to walk around with slides on. Contacted the host and after a few hours she responded and was helpful. We came to an agreement and worked something out for the issues, but was just bummed that the getaway we so badly wanted was tainted by the cleaning. If that gets fixed up for the next guests it would be a lovely place to stay.

It was beautiful and quiet
It was a very wonderful experience. We had a family wedding and event at another venue so we were not able to enjoy wine tasting on the property. If it was just for an enjoyable, relaxing vacation or weekend getaway this was the spot. I highly recommend this place for what it’s intended for.
