This looks like it was a really nice place once, but now they are cheeping out on things. No washcloths, 2 small bath towels, no glasses by the sink, we didn't have a remote for the tv we had to ho down to the desk to get one. The night guy that checked us in was not very helpful. It was like we were disturbing him while he was on his personal phone call. The morning people were very nice. The breakfast was very good and the man taking care of it was cheerful and helpful. Security? There were no locks on the outside doors. Is that normal for this area. I'm a city person. I'm use to hotels with secure doors.

Completely depressing and underwhelming. The only thing worse than the feeling after walking in and looking at the poor room conditions was the constant POWER OUTAGES during out stay. Ultimately they did refund guests who asked but sweet Lord, avoid this place at all costs.

Not worth the money
Front desk staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent but the hotel needs a LOT of work. Bathroom was very rundown with the counter dented and tilting down and the shower had cracks which allowed debris to come into the tub while showering. Very easy to hear in the hallway and next door and we discovered food outside our door in the morning. The outside doors to the parking lot did not lock and one was missing the crash bar to open. I wouldn't say it was the safest place to stay off the highway.

Good place for the price
With hotel costs being so expensive in Erie, Pa this time of the year, I chose the Days Inn as it was priced reasonably. It is an older hotel but it was clean. The bathroom could use some updating. No complaints. Staff were nice.

Only one staff member on each shift to work the front desk, answer phone, taking care of servicing the rooms. No rod to hang clothes or hangers. Was told it was a handicap room therefore no rod. I said, "So handicap people don't need to hang up clothes?" He said, "I guess not." After being put off three times asking for wash clothes (which were not in our room), we had to use our hand towels for wash cloths to get cleaned the next day. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

This property should, for all practical purposes should be shut down. Let me begin Unsafe and un locked entrances. The fire panels were padlocked which is an osha violation. Phones inoperable. Sinks plugged up. Rust in bathtub. Grouting was black. Room sheets were dirty . Overal condition was one of of a slum lords paradise. I will be calljng the health, building and fire inspector.

I’d rather sleep in a truck stop bathroom
Probably the worst of my lifetime. Non existent service. Dirty room. Looks NOTHING like the pictures. No vending. Unsecured doors everywhere. Pubic hair in 2 locations. 2 towels for 4 guests. But the front desk doesn’t answer the phone…. No internet password. I could go on but that’s the bulk of it.

My brother-in-law and I got 2 separate rooms for 1 night as we were in Erie for a funeral. His room didn't have a TV remote. He had to ask twice and when someone did come, the remote turned on the TV, then it would go off. He didn't even get a wash cloth. Going to breakfast, there was water coming down the hallway from the rain. I didn't have a phone in my room and light bulbs were missing from the lamps. The pavement driving to the back of the Inn was terribly torn up and full of pot holes. I would not recommend this Days Inn to anyone.
