Disappointed in this hotel. This is NOT a lodge…but an old style hotel with outside halls/access to the rooms. Initial impression was good, although I would say it is rather overpriced. Later, upon getting into bed, I discovered 2 of the 4 pillow cases were very “dark/discolored”…and smelled extremely strong of old sweat and body oils. They appeared to have not been washed for weeks, if not longer. There was mold on the shower curtain. Personally, I will find another hotel should I stay in the Ellensburg/Cle Elum area in the future.

The pool was perfect, the rest, meh.
We chose to stay here because of the outdoor pool and were not disappointed. The pool was very clean, the perfect temperature, and we had it to ourselves for most of our stay. The room itself was mediocre. It was moderately clean but there was a large cobweb in the corner. I think with better lighting it would have felt more home-y but it just felt dark and not very welcoming. Between the highway noise all night and the air conditioner clanging it was also very loud. This place has a lot of potential but just wasn't there.

The room was clean & spacious, beds comfortable, pool clean. Conveniently located across from Safeway. The room fee included continental breakfast. For dinner, we walked to a restaurant in town (1 mile away- by car it’d be a quick drive).

Should be less expensive
Thinking it would be a decent inexpensive motel to stay for five nights, it was not inexpensive, especially considering there were vacancies. It was clean but very old and worn (holes in the sheet rock, found two spiders in the bathroom alive), very 70s with a few minor upgrades. One 1oz bottle of shampoo/conditioner combo is not going to go very far. Very little amenities. Did not make it to the breakfast, so can't comment on that. The pool is next to the road and visible through the chain link fence. The hot tub is in a strange secluded gated area. Did not dare to venture into either. There are no internet outlets, so bring adapters to the traditional wall plugs.
