The actual stay was great! Hotel was fine, booking through hotels.com changed my stay for some random day so I paid for a room directly at the hotel since I was driving with 2 little kids and a dog for almost 19 hours. They refused to change my date and eventually refused my refund. It was also cheaper to just book with the hotel, by $30! Will never book with hotels.com again

I haven't stayed at La Quinta in years but they are dog friendly so we decided to give it a try after some not-so- great stays at other dog friendly hotel/motels. Though it's certainly not a "5-star" hotel, LQ was an excellent place for us to stay. The hotel was modern, clean, quiet and had courteous staff. Dog friendly was key and they definitely earn 5 stars for their category. The price, quality and cleanliness exceeded expectations.... plus good breakfast ....oh and popcorn and cookies at night!
