"Lovely hotel. Very old world country house style, extremely comfortable and warm. Beautiful modern bathroom with loads of towels. We ate in the bar both evenings and the food was top rate. Breakfast was served in a lovely spacious dining room and hot food prepared to order. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and very efficient. Free parking!! Would definitely recommend. "

"A very comfy room and the few staff we met were great. Breakfast was excellent and Heather was a gem! A bit disappointing that the hotel is closed apart from the rooms and breakfast service. It’s not that evident when you book so maybe they should make it more obvious. Parking was free in the car park 100 yds away but only for 24hrs at a time. So we parked there through the day and then moved the car to the street outside the hotel which has free parking from 17:30 to 09:00. Our only concern was the fact one person left the front door open twice and with no staff at the hotel we felt a little vulnerable. We would stay again though. "

"Warm greeting from Alison set the tone for this delightful small hotel. A cosy room with a comfy bed, great shower and a fantastic view over the sea. It's a fair way from restaurants so you need to drive into Berwick where there are great places to choose from. We had a great Turkish meal at Mavi. Highly recommend this hotel. "
