Liked: Cleanliness
Lovely setting in a field very close to Hever Castle. Basic continental breakfast left in the room and no toiletries in the bathroom. The wooden shed structure needs more soundproofing as the adjoining room's shower was very noisy.
Very quiet location with an open view over a meadow and trees. Friendly, helpful owners. Fair sized room with comfortable bed. Microwave and fridge and table for outdoor eating. Very convenient for visiting Hever Castle.
We wanted to visit Hever Castle and came across this lovely B&B which was only about a 10 minute walk away and am so pleased we booked it. Everything is extremely well looked after and is set in beautiful gardens and orchard. The owners, Wendy and Ivor, were very welcoming and friendly and recommended the pub The Henry VIII for dinner and it was excellent, literally a three minute walk between the accommodation and the Castle. All in all we had a brilliant weekend despite the weather being a bit rubbish and will definitely go back in the spring or summer as it is such a pretty area and we would like to see more.
